Discrimination against Left wing trash is legal, use that to your advantage!!!!
TimTuolomne comments on Jan 4, 2023:
We Constitutionalists are committed to defending the rights of ALL Americans...even those who would destroy the Constitution. But you are right, most of us are motivated by the respect for individual rights, and are made of stuff that makes us too tolerant and too nice. So we tolerate rudeness, trash talking, lies and seditious talk. We should not. But not by their method of censorship. We should speak clearly - including laughter at their preposterous, infantile, self-centered circular logic.

Gingrich makes sense to me. He is describing what amounts to negotiation for power, which is pretty much the way the House has always worked, especially for those elected by their constituents with no particular loyalty to the Constitution. True Republicans defend the Constitution, which limits government, so their motivation is not power, and they will be somewhat unhappy with such negotiations, just as clearly is Gingrich.

The Constitution clearly allows the Congress to collect taxes. What that has to do with human trafficking, I have no idea. Convicted Federal prisoners have no rights, also per the Constitution. So they have no right to expect to be free from forced labor. There is a movement in the US to assume rights for felons. Convicted felons statistically never deviate from the choices that earned prison, and asserting there should be unearned mitigation is just stupid.

We agree that electric cars are a scam. But c'mon, why blame Musk for making a dollar on stupid government policy??? That's just a cheap shot. If Musk didn't, someone on the Left would have instead, and they might have been even less careful to prevent battery failure. As an engineer, I can tell you that lithium battery safety is highly dependent on spending a lot of money on purity and assembly quality, which most manufacturers will not do if it threatens their bottom line. I have no evidence to say so, but I believe Musk has spent more on that than anyone else, knowing the risks of lithium batteries. And I have no confidence in Toyota. For one thing, they make electric cars with lithium batteries too. In fact the NHTSA has opened an investigation into the Toyota RAV4 after receiving 11 complaints of fire. Do you have evidence that Tesla fires are happening more than other makers? The NFPA reports that Tesla fires occur from ALL CAUSES at one tenth the national average. I have seen bus battery fires that have nothing to do with Tesla, and which seem to appear at maybe 100 times the frequency. I sense an agenda by Neo-Tech.

If the site opens thoughtful points, and especially if it contains solutions, it might be a worthwhile site. It is not wrong to identify responsible parties for bad policy or destructive actions, particularly when there is video, or written evidence of the parties themselves. That has nothing to do with "hate." Hate is motivation by an emotion, not necessarily the intention to act constructively. I don't know about you, but I have seen plenty of constructive posts, and have presented solutions that I believe are constructive. “Bored”??? Really?

RT - NASA Warns: China Could Claim Parts of the Moon [infowars.
TimTuolomne comments on Jan 2, 2023:
Not that significant. The International Law of the Sea will probably be the blueprint for such claims, and the costs will be prohibitive to claim much more than a few landing areas. I say let them spend their money, and eventually what they learn will filter over to us and we can do the same at far lower cost. And it may well break China, just as attempting to defeat American "Star Wars" broke the Soviet Union. Star Wars was disinformation. Anyone working on Star Wars missile defense knew it didn’t work then. But the Soviets were sure it did work, and overextended their economy in their desperation to try to defeat it. If one bothers to think through the logistics and costs, one realizes the claims on the Moon will be symbolic more than practical.

Potentially controlling the World will result in never again seeing human justice. For the few in power, that is a large enticement, if they can be sure to be in charge. COVID is and always was the common cold. COVID-19 is the DARPA engineered version of the common cold made in Wuhan that is 10 times more contagious than the normal cold, but NOT more dangerous. That's it. That is what the data shows. China and WHO called it a "pandemic" and the unintelligent news media never asked to right questions. Most people should now know that they should abandon the legacy news media. And the American public should now be very wary of government programs that have not been carefully vetted by ethicists on every level. Looking into potentially dangerous variants "just in case someone else does" should not be enough to proceed. In a Post Script only God could write, China has tried the impossible: to stop the common cold, and nearly destroyed itself trying. Western medicine has always known that, and understood the fallacy of wasting resources on such an attempt. Wiser minds in China now know that was a foolish response, and they are now more correctly defining COVID-19 as a highly contagious version of the common cold. Their equivalent of Fauci is probably now breaking rocks somewhere...if he's still alive. Are there those who made the best advantage of all of that to push their agenda? Sure. That's human history.

If you think you’re saving the environment by driving a Tesla, well, let me let you in on a bit of a secret: You could perhaps emit less carbon if you went with a diesel car. The findings of a new study by a group of German scientists seem counterintuitive at first. They found that electric vehicles in their home country accounted for more emissions than those smoggy diesels. Until, that is, you realize that “zero emissions” vehicles aren’t really so zero emissions. “When CO2 emissions linked to the production of batteries and the German energy mix — in which coal still plays an important role — are taken into consideration, electric vehicles emit 11% to 28% more than their diesel counterparts, according to the study, presented on Wednesday at the Ifo Institute in Munich,” the Brussels Times reported. “Mining and processing the lithium, cobalt and manganese used for batteries consume a great deal of energy,” the report said. “A Tesla Model 3 battery, for example, represents between 11 and 15 tonnes of CO2. “Given a lifetime of 10 years and an annual travel distance of 15,000 kilometres, this translates into 73 to 98 grams of CO2 per kilometre, scientists Christoph Buchal, Hans-Dieter Karl and Hans-Werner Sinn noted in their study.” When you factor in the energy needed to charge the batteries, this ups that total to 156 to 180 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The study’s authors recommended that instead of pushing for the adoption of “zero emission” electric cars, European officials should instead move toward other sources of power for automobiles — namely methane, “whose emissions are one-third less than those of diesel motors.” This, by the way, is hardly the only study that’s questioned whether electric cars are really as environmentally friendly as their proponents claim. A 2017 study by researchers at the University of Michigan found that the amount of CO2 emitted by electric cars varied wildly by country, but it certainly wasn’t zero. “The report — authored by Michael Sivak and Brandon Schoettle — notes that an electric car recharged by a coal-fired plant produces as much CO2 as a gasoline-powered car that gets 29 miles per gallon,” Investors Business Daily reported. “(For context, the average mpg of all the cars, SUVs, vans and light trucks sold in the U.S. over the past year is 25.2 mpg.) In 1980, the Bayh-Dole act was passed that allowed government subsidies of colleges and universities. Those politicians motivated by power couldn’t resist the temptation to attach strings. Politicians seeking power are those who feel the Constitution unreasonably limits government power; politicians like Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid… The Constitution and the Tenth Amendment provides only for the military and control of Interstate Commerce by the Federal government. Everything else is the purview of the people or the States, so Bay-Dole was un-Constitutional, but the “activist” Supreme Court acted outside of its Constitutional mandate and did not hear it. Clearly the Founders anticipated unprincipled politicians monkeying with the rights of the people, so they made such things illegal. Unarmed “Protestors” will not win against a massive armed police force, unless the authorities allow it. It is a gambit of some kind. Remember, the CCP grants or removes rights at its whim, including ESG. By comparison, the US Constitution begins by asserting that US Citizens have those rights already, so they can’t be granted nor taken away from the people by our government. Republicans pledge to defend that concept, the Republican Party was founded by Lincoln in 1854 specifically to defend the Constitution. Democrats, who claim they are for individual rights prove the opposite by claiming we have no right to defend our homes, our speech can be controlled by calling it “misinformation,” that we have no authority over our own bodies - from vaccinations, and that our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness does not exist. Because Democrats are actually more like the CCP, they need to slander Republicans and make the public believe Republicans did and do everything Democrats are doing, or Democrats would face the wrath of the people. The dumber half of the country are buying that. But Dems know their lies won’t hold up forever so they have to steal elections to stay in power. Get it?

Nuclear technology still has one critical flaw: Nuclear waste. Anyone with a fission reactor must be trusted for thousands of years to responsibly control and maintain extremely dangerous nuclear wastes. There are no vessels which can contain it for even a hundred years. How do I know? I worked as a nuclear engineer for part of my career. Am I completely confident that we will responsibly handle it for the duration? Not really. So how do we enforce some agency in some government to keep footing that bill to repackage that waste hundreds of times before it cools down enough to be safe? How many human error events will happen on that endless path? Many. And some will be deadly. The Soviets just walked away from their nuclear wastes, and left it for Russia to allocate funds and manage cleanup and storage. Did they take care of all of it? Did they do it responsibly? No one is completely sure, and we need to be. Does anyone know the true cost of nuclear power in Russia including the cleanup and management of current and future nuclear waste? That remains not completely certain. How many countries now with fission reactors can be counted on to responsibly manage that??? I do not have a warm fuzzy feeling that they all will. Given the current government in the US, utterly blinded to the urgency of anything but power and control, will we?
Just look around.

Might not have been disabled at this end. Remember, each video calls an address somewhere to play. If it were deleted at the origin, no amount of restoration on the playback will work. Best thing to do is copy the video - not the address of the video, but actually record it. Otherwise you’ll never know when Big Brother is going to discover it (maybe by following you!) and delete it.

Tucker Carlson: This is a lie [youtube.com]
TimTuolomne comments on Dec 21, 2022:
Clearly the Democrats are so accustomed to dozens of generations of justifying any policy for the sake of power, that reality is no longer remotely a consideration. Suffering of the American people was never their consideration. And the rights of Americans were always expendable.
The Twitter Files Have Revealed a Vast Web of Censorship and MSM Is Looking the Other Way ...
TimTuolomne comments on Dec 21, 2022:
Conspiracy law in the US under the First Amendment demands prosecution of MSM officials responsible, former Twitter employees, those responsible in Facebook, Apple, and Google, as well as the FBI, and anyone complicit in the current or previous administrations, for treason. And if I were a current Twitter account holder, I would be voting to support Elon Musk.

Very entertaining, and a little bit thought provoking, but not much. Biden probably has no idea why he is being directed to do and say what he is doing and saying, and there are clearly some shady things going on that may have something to do with misusing the US military. The truth will come out sooner or later, and I would bet it will be a little less conspiracy-like than Brand would like. If I were a betting man, it would always be that incompetence drives most events to everyone's surprise, not conspiracies.

No central bank has much effect on inflation when the government decides to go crazy printing money without basis. Economics 101 definition of inflation: Too much currency chasing too few products. Print money without value AND lockdown production and you get Mega-inflation far beyond the ability of any central bank to moderate. Buckle up buttercup.

TimTuolomne comments on Dec 18, 2022:
Poverty existed among those tribes raided and enslaved by their neighbors long before Europeans arrived, and the victors - mostly Muslims, prospered. Europeans did not help, but they were not the only cause. It is easy to identify the Marxist “oppressor/oppressed” belief, which is necessary to convince people that Marxism is valid. It isn’t. Every time its tried it is worse than any regime it follows. Only those ignorant of history, and not paying attention as Marxists destroy everything to prepare the people to accept Marxism, could possibly go along with such stupid arguments. Then their only choice becomes to risk their miserable lives to try to restore whatever happened before Marxism. Brilliant.
