Given what we now know of the effect of the SARS COV2 virus on the bloodstream, and that the lungs are not affected as thought previously, this shows that New York Doctors are responding appropriately to changes in updated information about the virus. What is not happening as rapidly, is the dissemination of that new information at the same rate in every hospital, probably due to funding. Most hospitals are at break-even, so the only way for that to happen is medical staff taking the initiative, and if they are overworked, that process slows down.
