This person can do whatever he wants as a member of about 3% of the human population, but I strongly object to him affecting others without their permission - especially those who have not the experience, strength or judgment to fend off traumatic experiences. As such a minority, how does this person assume he knows that will not happen??? He can not in any reasonable sense. Does he even have the maturity to understand that? As a person with some self admitted brokenness, I seriously doubt it.
WHO World Governance?
TimTuolomne comments on May 11, 2022:
And exactly what limits the power of any "World Government" to do whatever the person in charge decides to do??? In our Constitutional government, three opposing branches of government must compete for decision making power, which limits what they can do legally. What they do illegally is another matter, just like World government, which has even less impediment to canceling your rights.

TimTuolomne comments on May 11, 2022:
Well done. But what this can't show is the time it takes both to undo extravagant spending policy and the delay in the economic response. Those both are usually on the order of a few years to a decade. Very tough to prove who is responsible for such extravagance unless you have a good memory, or bother to list the bills by cost and party sponsoring them. For example I remember "quantitative easing" under Obama, and the debt going from about 8 trillion to around 17 trillion with him and his Democrat Congress, and economic growth at the lowest in the entire history of the country; less than 3%. You can't really see that in this chart. Finally, the engine of economic growth in the US is the consumer. As originally envisioned, the US government under the Constitution was to have no effect on the economy. The effect begins to become significant as government removes large amounts of money from the trade stream as taxes. Originally there were almost none; only enough to support the military. Now they are a significant part of the economy but only as a brake, not an accelerator, because the government does not produce anything. It only drains money from the trade stream, and with an efficiency from 1/8 to half of the private sector, returns it to the trade stream. A very poor stimulus and a weak but significant brake... until it siphons enough money from the trade stream to cause recession, and then prints enough compensating currency to cause inflation - which all that blue in the Congress has been doing for many decades now. You can see that clearly in the chart. That is the proof of DeTocqueville's prediction that under "democracy" the people vote themselves the goodies it has appropriated mostly from middle income earners and business (which the people pay for in higher prices) until the economy collapses.

The Problem with Green Tech [youtu.be]
TimTuolomne comments on May 7, 2022:
Firstly, If I were you I would not believe the modeling studies by the IPCC, the folks who brought you decades of failed climate models, 46 years of predictions of inundated coastlines, which seem to have remained the same, record temperatures on the Earth still in 1910 in spite of fudging every data set, truncating curves to the periods that fit their assertions, and openly admitting that it is all justifiable so World economics can be changed to Communism. Anyone who is still dumb enough to buy that cr*p is welcome to become a volunteer for the Darwin Awards by becoming a vegetarian. In another 20 years the remaining people will be the majority with good sense. On the other hand, secondly, I applaud your understanding that the raw materials for "green tech" will be a problem. Third, lead acid batteries are 70% efficient. NO BATTERY TECHNOLOGY WILL EVER GET BETTER THAN 100%, or no where near double the charge density needed to make electric cars competitive with the best gasoline engines - which will be with us for at least another 100 years, making battery research the second worse investment in history, because only a few percent improvement has occurred in the last 50 years, and clearly it does not have the potential (no pun intended.) Finally, investing in batteries dilutes investments in technologies with far greater potential, such as fuel cells. Fourth, nuclear will never be developed sufficiently to improve the average fuel required to provide power at the garage outlet, then at the wheels equivalent to even 40 MPG. The calculation is not that difficult. Electric cars will always produce more CO2 than my 3 cylinder single point fuel injected production Mitsubishi Mirage, which gets 50/65 MPG. And very soon, electric rates will no longer artificially support electric cars, and their true cost of operation will be understood - in addition to high sticker prices and battery replacements in 75k miles for the same cost as my car new - which will last 200k miles. And one of the reasons nuclear power may never increase much is the increasing problem of nuclear waste. There are no materials in the Periodic Table of Elements, nor compounds of them that can withstand high energy neutrons for more than about 50 years, making the repackaging process dangerous and potentially useful for terrorism for about a hundred thousand years. Anyone who blindly thinks nuclear is not a problem is ignorant of the facts. Fifth, check out Dr Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace, who has discovered that CO2 has been steadily declining for thousands of years, barely slowed by human production of CO2, and is now dangerously close to the minimum threshold required to support plant life on Earth, at which point the LACK OF CO2 will become far more...

Although I like the political leaning of this guy, the fact that his electric car only averages something under 40 mpg when you consider power station fuel usage and electric transmission inefficiencies, as well as a host of other factors, and that just like Germany, the artificial financial support of electric rates intended to stimulate development of electric cars will soon vanish, making power far more expensive for all of us, just so it is temporarily a better deal for electric car owners. Then there is the fact that lead acid batteries are already 70% efficient, meaning physics will prevent even a 20% increase in charge density in ANY KIND OF BATTERY - if there is even such a discovery. There hasn’t been in 50 years, making investments in battery technology the second worst investment in history (after photovoltaic panel development). For electric cars to be competitive with fossil engines - which they will have to be for another century, the charge density would have to nearly double. Never going to happen, and this guy seems clueless. As an engineer myself, I am not impressed by some of his space designs, and wonder how he managed to succeed so well with Starlink. I suspect he may be like Gates, who managed to buy technology or hire technicians to accomplish things beyond his own understanding. That also probably means his “vision” of a Mars colony is economically unrealistic, and the attempts will probably involve loss of life.

The Republican Party has published a clear platform from its inception with President Lincoln. It has always been defense of the Constitution. Democrats have always lied about who they are, and charged Republicans of doing everything Democrats have done. Democrats also claim Republicans have a platform entirely different than what Republicans publish. Only a fool would believe Democrats' claim. For example Democrats founded the KKK to intimidate former slaves from voting for Lincoln, and often claim Republicans are KKK, and charge Republicans with racism, when Democrats were always the racists. The Constitution and the Tenth Amendment both make Federal healthcare illegal, which never bothered Democrats who passed Obamacare in the dead of night, and Obamacare remained unchallenged by a Supreme Court also no longer following their Constitional mandate to ensure new law is Constitutional. The Constitution and the Tenth Amendment ALWAYS provided that each State could do whatever it pleased that was not included in Federal Powers. Federal Powers were never more than to protect the nation with a strong military, snd to regulate interstate commerce. Everything else the Federal government has done was instituted by Democrats illegally, and allowed by ignorant voters, no longer acquainted with and utterly ignorant of the gift of Constitutional protection of their rights, by limiting the Federal government.

Citizen-statesman were envisioned as temporary caretakers of our government, as can be seen in some of the Federalist Papers. Among the intentions of the founders of the Constitution were the escape from the tyranny of professional politicians - especially kings, princes, counts, barons.... Today that means professional politicians like career Governors, Representatives and Senators. Term limits for Representatives should be 2 years, 4 for Senators and 6 for Governors, with no possibility of repeating later. That roughly matches the intentions of the Constitution before the 17th Amendment - which never should have been passed.

The Department of Homeland Security is broken and dangerous- [reason.com]
TimTuolomne comments on Apr 25, 2022:
“The Department of Homeland Security is broken and dangerous-“ and that is among the main reasons the Founders of our nation did not write today’s Federal bureaucracy into the Constitution. Democrats, always pushing for elusive security at the expense of fragile liberty, began removing the limitations on the US government in 1942, with the abdication of the Commerce Clause. The slippery slope we have been on since then has led to a vast, unaccountable unelected extra-Constitutional Federal Bureaucracy, that now has direct control over our lives. How do we stop it? First, don’t elect big government reps of any kind. The bigger the gov’t the fewer your rights. And do you think anything short of a dictatorship has any chance of stopping the insane from shooting people? Of course not. Don’t be ridiculous. Secondly, ask your remaining reps, who are defenders of the original Constitution, to restore the Commerce Clause, and reverse or abolish every Federal bureaucracy that is not in the Constitution. That is all of them except the Dep’t of Commerce, and the Military. Some still remember the days when we were free, because that’s all the Federal government was, and no one was afraid then.
Imagine actually thinking Putin would be upset by this in any way. Low grade virtue signaling. lol

I think He will not come until all have heard of Jesus, and chosen - one way or another. Things are bad now but not nearly as bad as they will get at that time. Even the faithful will waver then. An understanding of the sacrifice of Christ, and the absolutely unique resurrection to seal taking the punishment for our sins forever, good. "Religion," not good; same as not choosing Jesus.

That "Karen" is apparently totally unaware of the far more immediately dangerous problem of the million year trend of low CO2 levels threatening all plant life - therefore also all human life, very soon. The solution? produce as much CO2 as possible. The downside? almost none, because CO2 makes up only a very small fraction of the total greenhouse gas effect on Earth. Look it up. Does that make you wonder what else she doesn't know? It should.

Obama is and always was a Communist, and fooled more than half the country, in spite of the fact that his thesis stated that the Constitution should not restrict the government. The US Constitution is the only document in the World that restricts the government.

There is no such thing as the US Security State. The Constitution does not provide for it, and if it exists, it has no legal power and there is no mechanism by which it may legally affect the Executive, Legislative nor Judicial branches. In fact the HSS and most of the Federal agencies that seem to be regarded by the public as "the government" are not the government, because their existence only occurred by the Supreme Court vacating the Commerce Clause of the Constitution - an illegal act. The mandate of the Court according to the Constitution is to interpret the Constitution, not revise it. But the voters allowed all of that to happen. If they ever wake up, they will demand a reversal of ALL of that.
19FortyFive: What Do We Hope to Achieve in Ukraine? [19fortyfive.com]
TimTuolomne comments on Apr 22, 2022:
It appears that everyone interested in defending Ukraine is completely myopic about the fact that they are Russia's neighbor and natural sphere of influence, just as Cuba is in ours, and that interfering there is like inviting Russia and others to interfere in our sphere of influence. Either action has the potential to cause major powers to be tempted to use nuclear weapons. These morons defending places they know nothing about, will be the cause of WWIII, and will deny it just as Chamberlain denied he was the cause of WWII.

The Left has been floating the idea that mere possession of a weapon is a provocation.
TimTuolomne comments on Apr 22, 2022:
Its the weaponization of the concept that they can claim being offended is caused by a criminal and not their own choice. And that is an extension of the idea that everyone else's business is their business. No reasonable person is going to accept that.

TimTuolomne comments on Apr 22, 2022:
My production Mitsubishi Mirage ES is a single point fuel injected 3 cylinder gasoline engine, with a safety record about as good as a Mercedes, that gets 65 MPG highway and around 50 in the city. So it produces about half the carbon dioxide as most hybrids, and only about 2/3 as much as a Prius. Most Prius drivers indignantly accuse me of lying, until we both share our fuel purchases and miles driven, which proves my fuel economy advantage. That makes them very unhappy because they spent 4 times more for their Prius, and they will have to buy new batteries after about 75,000 miles for the price of my car when it was new. Typically Mirages last about 200,000 miles. And Tesla owners also suffer buyers remorse when they watch utility prices climb as predicted, when local governments lose the ability to underwrite their subsides of the technology, and they find out that the actual fuel economy of a Tesla after considering the fuel burnt at the power station per mile is about the same as most hybrids, around 35 MPG - which is about half as good as my Mirage, and they spent a ton of more money for a much shorter life.
