Every engineer like myself, and every chemist knows this. So designs containing lithium must be perfectly sealed. That is not easy, and the failures occurring shows that even bright engineering minds have not solved that problem yet. They might not ever. Lithium should never be used in consumer products until the solution to that problem IS assured. So some of us warned about the high probability that you might be incinerated by those with lithium batteries. Especially because as the Germans have proved, EV power can not be underwritten by government indefinitely. And the true equivalent fuel economy of the best EV is below 40 MPG, when you trace the power at the various system efficiencies back to the source. I have owned a gasoline engine standard production vehicle for years that gets over 60 MPG. So that's a third less carbon than the best EV use produces, and a third less fuel consumed per mile. Those are not difficult calculations if you have any math skills at all. I think electric vehicle and hybrid owners are unintelligent sycophantic trend followers without a mind of their own.

Hundreds of examples of this happen every year in the US. And hundreds of incidents happen because the Left has created so many places in the US where there are no immediate consequences to mayhem. The most deadly places in the US are places like Chicago, with the strictest gun laws in the country. When crazy people hurt others it is a tragedy. We should not add to such tragedies by encouraging others that there will be no consequences when they act out.
