Preferably once in 6th, once in 9th and once in 12th Grades as “Full Semester” courses (at least) ... similarly, History, specifically US History should be reinstated. At 18 ... a long time ago ... I completely “disappeared” from all family and relative contact for a bit more than 3 years. I went down to the Caribbean without notifying or contacting anyone the entire time. I wouldn’t say it was “detaching” deliberately from everyone but that was the effect. It worked out that it made my resulting re-connection with the family quite a bit better. 3 years allows people to grow ... or something. I wouldn’t say that their thought process got any “better” but it made them understand that if I didn’t agree, they were better off not trying to push their thoughts on me. Families are one of those arrangements where most people think ... and most people accept ... that they have some sort of “inside track” ... that because they’re “family” they have some sort of “right” to “tell” you ... Stuff where you’d tell a stranger to STFU and walk away. Once my family realized that I wouldn’t hesitate to tell THEM to STFU and Totally Mean It ... we were able to work on becoming friends. Does he have the “strength” to deal with the position? A decade ... a Few Years ... ago, the Presidency required someone with the Drive, Desire and Willingness to work to do the job. Now...? Until the Left ... the Democrats ... are Kicked and Stomped into behaving themselves, I think a completely new personality will be required to be the President ... one that is Aggressive, Forceful and with the Mental, Emotional and Physical toughness of an Alligator. The only thing I see wrong here is that THEY didn’t get “Fired” because THEY are in Positions High Enough to muzzle the guy pointing out the Obvious Problem. Having checked into the dam’s construction and the way it was “pinned” ... or not ... to the bedrock ... I think the Chinese have a much bigger problem than they are willing to talk about. Satellite images show unquestionable deformation of the dam twice since its Construction ... including this time which shows buckling in three places towards the center of the span. Then there is the soil composition of most of China ... including this area the soil is basically “loess” ... relatively light and granular ... almost like a type of sand; (“Loess can be defined as sediment that has been entrained, transported, and deposited by the wind and is dominated by silt-sized (50–2μm diameter) particles.” ) it is well known to be easily eroded by water action once it gets hit by moving water. China has long had this problem with the major rivers regularly changing their course by tens or even hundreds of miles fairly frequently. There is a saying about people who build their houses on shifting sands ... and it isn’t one that’s particularly reassuring.

Parts of the Bronx, Harlem, Washington Heights In NY come to mind ... sorry got side tracked ... the Caribbean and Central America figure in pretty prominently.
