A letter to friend that leans ... I’ve been aware of him but ... there’s so many ... The tag line that caught my eye was a question; Since When Is One Side COMPLETELY Right and the Other Side COMPLETELY Wrong? (Thats actually paraphrasing the question). Obviously we disagree on ... several ... things but I listen and look at the things you present and sometimes, regardless how reluctantly, I see where you have a good point ... might, in fact, be right. A large part of this brouhaha that bothers me is that one side (Democrats, Establishment & etc) has, for now 12 years, been more and more strenuously determined to force their “Rightness” down my throat ... onto the Nation. The people I support seem to be mostly angry about that. Of course, We think we’re more likely to be right but, our positions move ... we’ve often realized we were maybe not quite right ... we’ve even backtracked to try something different ... try a different approach. So, when one side of an argument ... a disagreement ... breaks out the sledgehammer (or baseball bats or molotov cocktails or ...) in an effort to “Change” the other sides’ opinion, doesn’t that action undermine what they’re saying? As an example I would point out that “Green Energy” ... the “Green New Deal” ... is purported to be the One Thing that will Save the World. It might ... well, except that NOBODY has EVER come up with ANYTHING that provides more than a Tiny Fraction of what the World Population NEEDS for Power. And then, Al Gore, Greta Thunberg and Cabal climb onto various Private Jets to go and harangue yet another crowd about how they should be driving those Electric Cars which are Powered by the Petroleum Industry ... in order to “Save the Planet”.

Parties are created when there are enough people ... a large enough percentage of the people ... supporting them. I tore through the streets and traffic of daytime and rush hour cars, trucks, cabs and pedestrians ... usually moving faster than any of those ... and ANY of DOZENS of messengers did EXACTLY the SAME THING. A helmet would have brought out peals of laughter and derision. When I played Goalie in Pick Up Hockey, I wore hockey gloves, a protective cup, a tooth guard and sometimes taped the Boston Globe around my shins. I went home bloody and bruised and ... thrilled to have played for hours on end. Usually I didn’t notice my condition until my Mom asked me what had happened. When we played Full Tackle Pick Up Football for HOURS, NOBODY had ANY “Special Gear”. Not long ago I was riding my bike in the sleepy little town I live in and was accosted by some quite seriously concerned citizens who berated me for not wearing a helmet as I rode. Somehow people have come to the conclusion that “protecting” oneself from harm at all costs is the only way to live ... but, if thats how you’re living, You’re NOT LIVING ... The Officers tgen opened fire and Breona was killed in the incident. The information indicates that she was aware if her boyfriend’s activities. Budget cuts from COVID-19 and an additional 1.5 million from the council in August we have let go 17 CSO’s and cancelled a recruit class of 29. A potential Cadet class slated for January of 2021 was also eliminated. It takes about a year to get a police Officer onto the streets with hiring, backgrounds and field training so reinforcements aren’t coming any time soon. The part where Tim talks about about the State Appointing the Senators is Interesting. THAT’S the way it was set up to begin with. THAT’S the way it WAS until 1913 when it was changed. (See below) The idea was that the People of the States would be more involved with Their STATES’ Government and work through Their State Government to provide a “Check” on the Federal Government (Checks and Balances) “In 1913 the Seventeenth Amendment officially became a part of the U.S. Constitution, providing for the direct popular election of senators. This was a major departure from the plan adopted by the framers in 1787. According to Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution, “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each state, chosen by the legislature thereof for six Years.” (I think this was a Democrat idea as well but I haven’t researched it)

I really have no problem with the concept of “Mail in Voting” provided that it is a Verifiably Legitimate Ballot that was Specifically Requested and Verifiably Issued To, and Verifiably Posted By the Voter in a Required Enclosed Envelope that has no “Party or Political Affiliation” Markings. However, if all the above criteria are met, it is essentially an “Absentee Ballot” so why didn’t they simply stick to “Absentee Ballots” to begin with? I didn’t care much for Rudy and some of his initial moves ... and still don’t. I can’t say that many of his policies and ideas were “Bad” ... in fact, most of them turned out to be extremely effective and worked out quite well. My biggest ... and remaining gripe ... was his decision to “Close the Parks” at night based on the Crime and Drugs happening in them. I, and many people I knew, hung out in the parks at all hours relaxing, playing frisbee, listening to street musicians ... we knew there was a criminal element but ... One of my greatest pleasures was walking home after work ... 2am or so ... by cutting through Central Park in the serene quiet, it was almost like walking alone at night through the woods. Also the gatherings a Washington Square Park, beating the heat by sitting near the misting fountain ... Mahmoun’s Falafel place just down the way ... Anyway, I don’t deny that Rudy did a lot to ‘fix” some of the more egregious misbehavior and create a better overall environment. As to this Giuliani ... I think Rudy had a different background than he does ... can he, will he, do a similar job? Honestly, I don’t know. On the other hand, it would be hard to imagine ANYBODY not being a serious Step Up from de Blasio (Warren Wilhelm Jr.). On the other hand ... I’ve long known the NYC People don’t actually vote with their brains ... and I was never able to figure out what they used instead.

This was a strange day for me. I almost never went in to my office. I almost never went in early. I had a couple large jobs that were to be delivered that day and I went in to make sure nothing was screwed up. I was sitting doing a blueprint takeoff for a job I was bidding while I waited for the warehouse to tell me they were ready to load the orders. The rest of the office was empty which I thought was odd but I wasn’t there often enough to know. One of the people stuck her head into my office and exclaimed that “A plane hit one of the Towers!” Maybe it was a measure of how jaded I was that I simply assumed that some moron with a Cessna had screwed up and continued working. A bit later I could hear a lot of people moving up through the stairwell towards the roof and one of the guys stuck his head in and asked if I didn’t have people (contractors/customers) working in one of the Towers? Because it was seriously f-d up and on fire. One of my customers did, in fact, have a job up in one of the Towers so I went up to the roof to see what they were talking about still feeling more than a bit reluctant to leave my work figuring it was probably “much ado ...”. When I got to the roof I realized that this wasn’t the work of a “plane” this was ... I couldn’t quite wrap my mind around the damage I was seeing. I really wasn’t “feeling” anything I was too stunned, surprised ... too much wondering “What the Hell?” A couple minutes later the second jet struck. My angle of view is such that I don’t know whether I saw the 2nd jet coming in ... I think I did but ... I DID see the fuel and materials exploding out the side of the building. I didn’t notice I dropped and broke my favorite coffee mug. The contractor lost 11 of his people that day. Honestly, whatever I might say after the losses others experienced that day, is almost not worth mentioning. My industry pretty much died that day. My Career became basically meaningless ... worthless ... that day (though it took two years for me to understand) My City bravely ... proudly ... carried forward. Picked itself up and continued. On that day My City ... My Nation ... lost an immense portion of the “Soul” it had had the day before.

I can’t figure out whether the article is biased or not ... I suppose thats good. I think that the emergence of these tactics ... and their widespread use ... simply highlights that the people employing them in pretty much any manner should be classified as rioters and should be hammered legally as “Rioters”. However, I think that it is the “soft” or “PC” responses used by the Police and Other LEOs that let it happen/continue. I’m personally an advocate for a Strong, Physically Violent reaction from our police with multiple slow walked arrests and arraignments. It used to be that I could get a fairly accurate picture of events ... what was said ... from News Reports and Newspaper Accounts. That, however, has changed radically over the last 12 years. Now, as far as I can tell, there Are No “News Reports” excepting FOX, OANN and, to some extent, Epoch Times but, even their coverage is “weighted” ... and Newspapers are simply a joke. Truthfully, I tried watching some of the DNC convention (available in its entirety online) but I simply couldn’t Choke Down the amount of Pure BullShit they were shoveling. So far I’ve been too busy to try to look at the RNC convention. Thankfully there are many sources on the Net for viewing excerpts ... many of the excerpts I’ve seen from the RNC have been Very Good, Very Powerful. Still, like being shoveled BS, I can’t stand sitting in an Echo Chamber overly long. I really have NO Interest in ANYTHING Likely to come from the mouths of Biden or Harris or the rest of the “Democrats” either. There’s a lot to unpack in this ... First, most NY Metro people tend to run “lean” ... that is, tend to have almost no food in their cabinets. It comes from there being stores, groceries, bodegas ... everywhere. When I lived there my friends thought i was completely weird because all my cabinets and freezer were always FULL. Second, I’m sure a lot of people were caught completely unprepared to be out of work for so long. Third, As odd as it might sound, if they’ve been stuck in their homes and apartments, this probably represents “something to do” ... with a Reason to do it. Fourth, I would think that many of these people might not be completely “out” but ... this represents a chance to stock up ... which I noted above is not “typical behavior”. Fifth, NY Metro people are, in many ways, adjusted to a Socialist thought process since City Living Requires that in many ways. However, it is also important to recall that MANY People in the NY Metro Area are Immigrants from countries and places where this sort of thing is actually more normal than not. Its nothing to Laugh or Scoff at but ... exactly how bad it is ... is questionable. Of course, trying to lay this situation on President Trump is simply par for the course. Remember, there’s some 7.5 Million People in the NY Metro Area and this looks to be at most a few thousand. They’re also standing pretty calmly in a single line. If things get really bad, you would expect to see more of a crowd than patient line ...
