From the age of 12 to almost 15 I was an avid and strenuous supporter of the concept of Global Cooling ... I carried signs, participated in sit ins, went on Walk-A-Thons, collected signatures and donations, argued vociferously, I hitchhiked to Boston and sat in on college classes and “talks” ... I was “All In” Then I learned to think critically ... or the ability kicked in ... and I came to the heartrending conclusion that it was all a scam and there were some folks making LOTS OF MONEY off the topic but nothing was actually being done. That then morphed into being an Ecology “Freak” ... Rachel Carson, DDT, Phosphates in the water, Acid Rain ... but other fairly extreme aspects as well ... I’m not an “Atheist” though I am a non believer in anything that has ever been proposed by “mankind” on the topic ... especially anything called Religion ... although I solidly support the concept of Religion for reasons ... well, that’s a long topic by itself ... My concept of “god” is extrapolated from the actual writings of the Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians and etc. (Mesopotamians) which predates “Judaism” by a lot and which Judaism is obviously based upon as it contains somewhat rewritten versions of Sumerian writings. Thankfully, the media which the Mesopotamians used for writing has withstood the thousands of intervening years and can be read easily today. What is interesting to me is that the Mesopotamians had no problem attributing the rise of their people, their culture, their existence to Aliens ... and, in accurate translations of the Judaic “Bible” there are countless references to this as well ... The part I find interesting is that people seem to think that if you allow the concept of Aliens being Our “Spark” that there can be, somehow, no “God” ... as if ALL beings from wherever don’t have a “God” themselves. I literally “see” a ... superior power ... in everything that I recognize to exist ... I “see” the proof of it ... I might also point out that you should look into the use of “Carbon Char” (aka BioChar after being “tempered” ) which is a jumpstart method of creating Terra Pretta (look it up ... lots of info out there) Since you have probably have a substantial woodlot, Carbon char can be made of deadfall and fallen stuff ... there is information on how to make a simple funnel cooker out there as well. Once a System achieves its “Goal” where does it go from there? The Laws of Nature ... Reality ... indicates that it CANNOT simply enter into a form of “Stasis” not for long at any rate. I note that they throw around some “polling data” and statistics but i’ve Never heard of anyone conducting such polls. They purport to desire to remove corruption from Our Government. A Lofty and Admirable Goal ... something worth striving for ... However, it seems that they are looking to establish a more truly “Democratic” form of Government ... another Lofty and Admirable Goal ... or is it? As things stand in Our Nation we are on the edge of a clear divide between what I would call “Makers and Takers” ... a point where there are as many people (Constituents?) that want to be “Given” as there are that simply desire the opportunity to “Make Their Way” ... IF in the process of removing Federal Corruption we simply unleash Civil ... Social ... Corruption, what do WE as a Nation ... as Citizens ... gain? It seems to me that these are good and thought provoking videos BUT if looked at carefully, they seem to be pushing the Concepts that would, for instance, remove the Electoral College. If this isn’t a “Logical Explanation” as to why WE should be embracing a “Socialistic” form of Government ... I’m missing something. Further, I’m pretty suspicious about the statistics they are so casually throwing around as well as what they are using as sources ... Bloomberg? I hear them throwing around “Facts” I’m not sure what they’re based on ... I hear them throwing around “Statistics” I’m not sure where they got them from ... I hear them claiming “membership” to a group I’ve never heard of ... “We’ve got 85 ... if we could get it to 850 ...” Doesn’t this sound an awful lot like the claims and aims of the “Justice Democrats” (the People behind Occasional Cortex) which itself is a subset of “Move-On.org” which is itself a fuzzy-friendly version of the Left?

While I sort of see her ... and your ... point, the question is then, what to do with them if they were allowed re-entry? Were they allowed to return, would they be put ... could they be put ... through a typical “Western Justice” System? Based on what “crimes”? Based on what “evidence”? It’s hard enough to “put away” or exterminate people caught red handed with plenty of solid evidence. These women could only be tried with evidence that amounts to hearsay and supposition. In other words, we would have no legal reason to hold them never mind actually “try” them. Further, these assets or funds should NOT be turned over to the “Local” Government for use or disbursement to remove the incentive to “Run a Racket” of Asset Seizure. While I believe the 17th should be repealed, I see this as problematic ... As far as I can tell, from several different sources, the concept was that a State’s Constituents ... Citizens ... were, or were thought to be, more involved with THEIR State’s Legislature. Prior to the War Between the States, Many people’s PRIMARY Allegiance was to Their STATE and only Secondarily to the Federal Government/Country. AFTER the War, people came to understand that the Individual States seemed to have very little power ... had sublimated their authority to the Federal Government.
