Is it time to put Trump out to pasture?
GeeMac comments on Dec 13, 2020:
It isn’t mandatory for any President to make a concession speech, although I wish Donald Trump had been more gracious in defeat. The Democrats pushed the idea of mail-in voting because they knew that was key to their chance of victory; but they were also boosted by the pandemic and the collapse...

@TheMiddleWay Yeah ... usually updates to a Law or any part thereof are designated by the Year/Date of the change. Clearly there IS a Legal Requirement which is NOT Covered by this revision and has, therefore been left out. Its in there somewhere, simply NOT where you are looking. Seriously, if there IS No Legal Stipulation (which may be Federal in nature and therefore overarching) the Courts and Judges simply would’ve laughed and shown the Plaintiffs out the side door ... Inasmuch as they DIDN’T Throw Out the Case based on a Total Lack of Standing, THERE IS “Standing” ... THERE Is a Legal Stipulation. Sorry, your Logic doesn’t stand up.

Well, in this case as in most of my posts, I have included an attributed piece on which I am commenting. What resources? Then, there is ALWAYS the Big Question which remains in many topics and discussions ... ESPECIALLY Where Big Money or Big Power is involved ... “WHO PROFITS?” Am I always right? Nope. Every once in awhile I get something critically wrong. Just ... not often. I have a very high rate of correctness when all the dust settles and clears.

I am willing to engage with you if you ask or question in an honest manner but ... one line; “what are your sources?” Or ... simply “Why” ... will only provoke my contempt. Can you understand why? I have studied these things for decades and read intensively every side of the questions so for me to cite one source ... one “particular” and “overwhelming” bit of evidence ... is practically impossible ... simply because I tend NOT to take any one ... or two ... or five ... pieces of information and judge them for veracity ... I take those pieces and weigh them against a dozen others and weigh them against other pieces for historical reference or credibility. In the process I come to a decision as to what I believe to be “truth” or, more likely, to be credible.

@BlurtReynolds THAT’S an Incredibly Good Question. The first answer is ... it depends on the topic. Unfortunately, it has truly become a case of; “Believe HALF of what YOU SEE and NONE of what You Hear” The second answer is to gather information from Dozens or Hundreds of sources and look for the solid thread that runs through them. Look for contradictions within the sources. Strip out the sensationalism ... strip out the pieces by authors trying to remain relevant ... and carefully weigh what remains. Unfortunately, in the end, YOU have to decide whats real. In my case, in terms of COVID, I know several Medical Professionals ... and am related to several more ... and then I look at several periodicals of the Medical Profession (Journal of American Medicine, Lancet ... a few others) and then, I look at History. The consensus among the Medical Professionals AND History is that COVID, while being honestly a serious problem, is NOWHERE NEAR the catastrophe its being played up to be. In fact, it should be something almost no-one has ever heard about. In the USA “they” claim it has killed 250,000 ... which is untrue but maybe it helped push some people over the edge ... but the USA Population is 330,600,000 and Climbing ... that’s less than One In a Million if taken as a worst case. We currently have things that kill Many More People Annually. Its Tragic, its Sad, especially when it was someone you cherish ... or even know ... but, this honestly is NOTHING like the Black Death.

Maybe because the Mass Media is trying to bury EVERYTHING from here on out that doesn’t support THEIR Theory of Who Won? Maybe because when they “come knocking on your door”, exclamations of; “I DIDN’T KNOW!!!” are going to result in the phrase; “Ignorance of the Law is NO EXCUSE”? Lets let all the low level pot sellers out of prison so we have room for Fraudulent Voters?

In 1960 there were murmurs about murky results from Chicago that decided the election for JFK. **Making of the President, 1960** explained it openly, the Chicago machine waited until all the results from the rest of Illinois came in and then 'produced' just enough votes to win the state (and ...

@xerxes Would be BETTER if you used some of Your Own Innate Curiosity and tried to verify or discard such things ON YOUR OWN. FIRE BURNS!!! Do I feel a need to hold your hand over an open flame to prove it? No.

@timon_phocas, @xerxes Xerxes (real charmer of a profile name) ... I read, digest, peruse and gather information from literally hundreds of sources in any given week. I use Right, Center and Left sources and ... using my own judgement ... filter out and discard the Bullshit. A simple statement like the one above is formulated, developed, investigated, reinforced and determined to be accurate over years ... decades. It is not a “one off”. I COULD take the time to scrounge around and sit you down at a rather large Library Table and proceed to merrily bury the table ... but to what end? Its a waste of my time. Besides, I also work some 60 to 70+ hours a week. You will either learn to find out ... to investigate ... the veracity of such statements ON YOUR OWN ... OR, You will Simply NEVER LEARN.

So, HOW MANY SYSTEMS NATIONWIDE used This “Software”?

Why was the popular vote so close in the US presidential election?

@JacksonNought What? Did you just simply repeat someone else’s question (plagiarized)? Where did you derive the concept that I had any interest in abolishing the Electoral College regardless? I’m against the concept of relying on a “Popular Vote” Having lived in NY Metro for decades and California for a bit ... I became MORE Against the Concept of “Popular Vote”

@JacksonNought Yeah ... interestingly that has something to do with why we are a REPUBLIC rather than a “Democracy”. The Founding Fathers KNEW that sooner or later, there would get to be enough dumbf-cks out there to start voting in Free Lollipops as a Constitutional Right.

Biden tried to persuade the vanishing share of the electorate who are white swing voters rather than seeking to expand his base by mobilizing the diverse working class, young people, and progressives who make up much of the 100 million non-voters. Not all Trump supporters are racist, sexist or bigots, but quite a few are. You can also include white supremacists in that group. But anyone who voted for Trump has had their head buried in the sand for the last 4 years or is completely brain dead.

All you need to do is give a cursory glance at the Biden/Harris rallies and you know that whatever turned out their vote, it was neither of them. I would say that the motivating factor was Trump, and the fact that their votes were against him. “Anyone but Trump.” I happen to like Trump, not ...

Something about having more than 100% turnout and voting overwhelmingly for Biden, doesn’t set very well with me. Having over 200% of Registered Votes turn out is beyond guesswork ..
Good question; I know the answer.

not really a good analogy for what goes on between rival political philosophies in human society. The ants have no sense of dominating or competing with one another.
