To then add some further qualifier simply makes the results even murkier. Oddly, I was tested as a child, as was my son. We both had very high numeric results. Fortunately we were tested using culturally appropriate parameters. Without culturally appropriate parameters the results might well have been substantially higher or lower depending on the criteria. In all honesty far too many studies show that culture is the controlling factor. Sadly the system is set up to game everyone and they have decades of experience doing it. Look at your user agreement with the credit card company. You will see there is a two tiered system of interest they will charge. Cash advances always fall under the higher of the two. When you "borrow" from plastic that advance is the last thing paid off on the card if you are carrying a balance. That allows them to charge the higher rate on everything until the card is paid off in full... zeroed out. They've gamed you into always paying the highest rate if any charge appears. Banks are currently paying less than 1% interest to their customers' savings accounts. No way that savings interest will counter balance 24% interest charged on your card. Some times you will see ads offering 5 to 7 times the interest rate on savings. Those accounts require a minimum principal of $10,000. Sadly being flat broke has few options. Hard to live below your means when you have no means. Short of selling personal possession or services/labor there are very few options and "gaming" the credit cards is certainly not one of them.

Totally, absolutely agree with govols. I am sick to death of the choreography used to scare the shit out of everyone. This was planned weeks in advance according to the FBI. This is all pure BULL SHIT. As a Britisher noted, in a recent video I watched, once inside the building they even stayed between the guiding ropes set out for normal visitors when traversing the corridor. For the most part the horrible things they did were to sit in seats reserved for the high mucky mucks. Many also took selfies of their actions for their friends or to post to social media. For the most part these are not violent actions but more the giddiness of being where they shouldn't be. I do not condone what they did at all, however very little "destruction" actually occurred. The selfies got most of them arrested pretty quickly. There was some violence but the five "deaths" were in fact all proven to be medical conditions with the exception of the woman who was shot and killed by a guard. So really only one death was horrific... the rest were regrettable but all results from prior medical conditions. Terror is when you look at the BLM and Antifa actions throughout the summer and fall. This in no way equates with that. Again, FBI have clearly said all of this was planned weeks before and was not the result of Trump's speech that day.

I completely disagree with you on that. I raised a boy by myself. He is now a very upstanding man, father of one and loving step father to five other children. He joined the military to get his advanced education and is doing incredibly well all around. Try not to use the same paint brush on all people in a group. The schools and pop culture have contributed heavily to the imbalances in our culture today.

It appears I still can't comment or "like". Edgeworks: Great choices. I'm toying with 2 chinese EV automakers​, some 5G and some robotics/AI stocks at the moment to enhance the old portolio. Even if the market crashes those will come back strong. Prior to Biden I would not have gone with a Chinese owned stock but the Biden Administration certainly changes my perspective on that issue. Both Nio Limited and XPeng have some good facilities lined up and have dramatically increased sales in this last quarter. When you look at the auto industry market in China, combined with both companies heavily involved in EV, self-driving and AI, should be interesting to see how they perform over the next few years. Like most I missed Amazon's infancy and wouldn't mind getting in early on other growing markets.

I have just logged in with a different browser and all the glitches have gone.

The divide, instead of getting smaller, is being fanned daily at all levels including the current White House occupants. @wolfhnd My sentiments exactly. Was just saying to hubby how maturity is truly rare these days. I would say emotionally crippled to me translates to the immaturity of a child who has not learned natural consequences, true responsibility of self to both self and the whole of society. I'm wondering if our entire education system is not complicit in this loss. When one is taught from the time they enter school that regurgitation is the means to success then all achievement and mores are based on external "authorities" as opposed to one's internal compass.
