@Alysandir I spent 6 years working for a man I utterly hated. Until I worked for him I had no idea I could hate like that. Just to top off all his unethical practices, he too was a Dem. The job really cost me a lot in terms of health several times including a nasty bout with cancer. Did you know anger can trigger cancer? My region is extremely depressed and another job just wasn't in the picture. Playing your cards close to your vest is the route to go from what you are saying. Considering you have at least 7 years to go and probably a lot longer I sincerely hope you are in a position to find a company and job that's a much better fit. Take good care of your health and the toll this takes on it.

That sucks. Question is: Do you make noise and move on? or Do you look at the long term picture and play your cards close to your vest. How long until you retire? Principles do not put food on the table. Another thought is go see an attorney, using their free consult hour or half hour, and find out from him if you can challenge illegal actions done by your company and have a court rule on their actions. Secretly I am sure a great many would thank you, but in public most peeps are cowards on the challenge issue. Anyways, at least getting input from a really good "Wrongful Dismissal Attorney" would be free. The final thing you could do, depending on whether you live in a blue or red state, is file a complaint on your Department of Labor's web site.

@Paralamente New York State has also passed COVID passport laws. I too will not take the vaccine. These laws will prevent me from ever seeing my sister and my only son again as they live in Canada. I am heartbroken. I do not respond well to most pharmaceuticals so cannot take the vaccine. My doctor is nice but probably would not be helpful in proving I can't risk taking it, so I can't even bring a legal case against the State to protect my freedom and rights.

I agree. My concern though, was that now that we're fully into a Biden Administration, people had stopped commenting and were just clicking. Facebook-itus seems to have infested these boards, turning them into simply another source of news with no interaction. I suspect this behavior could actually disable the whole point of having the site. I don't read everything for sure, but when someone does take the time to post it generally is because some news has disturbed them and is worthy of comment at least from some posters. You must be careful the words offered make sense with your statement.
