The biggest problem with this is something my sister has made clear for decades now. Good nurses will actually "correct" a doctor when necessary. As nurses have extensive hands on with their patients, they will see things the doctors who may only assess reports and spend a few minutes with a patient, will not see. She worked at Sick Childrens Hospital in Toronto (world renowned) for close to 40 years and on numerous occasions had to challenge a doctor's assessment and correct treatment prescribed. That takes real courage AND extensive experience to spot when a doctor was missing important subtle clues as to a patient's true condition. Even with AI, will robots spot these complexities? Maybe yes and maybe no. Only time will tell.

I remember reading that book in the late 70's or early 80's. It really showed you how different the ways of thinking are between Japanese/Eastern culture and Western thought. I read all three, Shogun, Tai-Pan, and King Rat and the Noble House series as well. Great books. In many respects the Asian Tongs of today. So this new Squid game is based on similar thinking, where the individual is only valued as a piece within a much larger power structure. Ignore or go against that structure then the individual becomes of no value, basically float-sum. The system is the value.

Regarding the CTV news item, scientists (not in the mainstream) believe and supposedly have proven that the vaccinated are shedding the proteins their systems now produce, and are causing the Delta variant. If this is so, that would explain why children are now highly susceptible to COV-19. Regarding the National Post article, "food as medicine" is being exploited in order to accomplish their goal of “one plant to vaccinate one person.” Although the science is remarkable, do any of them concern themselves with overdosing? There are numerous studies where researchers have discovered the dramatic drop in nutritive value of today's crops (genetically designed to fend off pests and diseases in order to increase yields) resulting a serious decline in health across the population and soil degradation caused by mono-crop cultivation. The depletion from what we were eating in 1950 up to today's available veggies is of grave concern. That said, should we be concerned that these experiments may further deplete nutrition while packing unknown levels of "medicine". How would they determine toxicity levels? One thought is professional day care providers setting up small spaces for class rooms and online learning, along with physical interaction and play/exercise activities. I wouldn't be surprised if some current daycare providers would happily "move" into a whole knew paradigm, with online educators (of a finer quality than schools currently permit) teaching online. Paid subscription service makes sense.

Great idea, except I don't have a cell phone. We use Skype for a phone, cheap and free to call world-wide, you only pay (which we do) to have a permanent number as your own. Cost is something like $12 or max $15 every three months. Years ago I had a cell phone but really didn't like it. I've always seriously been a "leave a message" if I'm not there kind of person. I felt like I was on a short short leash and anyone could demand to know where I was or why I didn't answer. Nope, just wasn't for me. These days sometimes I envy all the tools at your fingertips while away from home, but I do not envy the obsession of "needing" it and "checking it" constantly. The Court system is multi-level (like a chain of command) and must be traversed at each level prior to approaching the Supreme Court and then the Supreme Court has to agree to hear the case(s).

Hopefully that is not the case. I know I've felt a certain amount of blood from the odd scrap but I reached out to another I consider a friend and subsequently blocked the offender. No one needs a ton of grief on here. I do hope that is not what happened.
