And "in jokes" that depend on the victim being unaware of the joke, are the lowest form of satire. Ergo, "not always being sure," is to fail to communicate the message, which begs the question of the courage to speak directly. Humor which uplifts at the moment of revelation, is the highest form of wit and intelligence, which often evades the satirist.

TimTuolomne replies on May 14, 2020:
There is no actual greater threat than has happened forever before. Here are the facts, verifiable with references. Geneticists who have analyzed the gene sequence of SARS COV2, which causes COVID-19, are confident of three facts: 1.There are no markers which are unavoidable when genes are spliced (engineered). 2. The forensic path clearly shows a very old gene sequence consistent with a path through bats found in China, but no where near Wuhan. 3. A much more recent forensic path in the gene sequence of the virus shows that it went through the pangolin before jumping to humans. http://virological.org/t/the-proximal-origin-of-sars-cov-2/398 The R-nought value of SARS COV2 is 5.7 in 2.5 days, which tells us that the entire globe was exposed to the virus long before the West was even aware of its existence in China.* And that means social distancing and masks were an attempt to prevent exposure that had already happened. https://www.healthline.com/health/r-nought-reproduction-number Furthermore, 99% of those the virus kills are smokers and people of any age with serious pre-existing conditions. Its possible that the remaining 1% also have pre-existing conditions that are undiagnosed. This is why populations with high concentrations of smokers and illnesses, like Italy, have higher mortality rates than countries like Sweden. The numbers are still consistent partly because of the unusually long latency of SARS COV2. And partly because other things are still getting them. See "Multiple Conditions Increase Risk." https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/covid-19-coronavirus-infographic-datapack/ So with a case base that could be 2000 times greater than reported right now, that makes the virus 2000 times less dangerous - far less than the common flu. SARS-COV2 is less dangerous to healthy people than driving. Not a very effective biological weapon. Doctors think no disease should be acceptable. And as medical doctors, they may be ignorant of the consequences of political decisions. Does COVID-19 kill people? Yes. The same people who doctors like Dr Fauci should expect to be taken out by the flu and pneumonia, etc, because of other infirmities, every year. 2,046,549 people died in the US last year of all causes except suicide. 73,000 are now listed here as dying of COVID-19 in the US, almost all of whom could have been listed as dying of their pre-existing conditions. Are the Chinese making the most of all of this? Of course they are. They are pretty good at strategic planning, but it doesn't mean they orchestrated this, sorry. Creating a vaccine will be futile if it mutates, and this source asserts it has already happened. Do we want to destroy our nation waiting to find a vaccine that is effective? ...

If you have ever known anyone truly driven by the desire for power, you understand that such a motive presumes that the system in which they exist is irrelevant, so they pander to the kind of system in which their power is greatest, and care not about consequences whatsoever. Their only enemy are Constitutional principles, which would threaten their power. They are the functional sociopaths who appear rational to many and are willing to promise anything to get elected and stay in office. And they will pander to their voting base utterly without regard for principle. It is easy to recognize them, unless you are wearing the glasses of gullible utopianism, in which the power-hungry find greatest opportunity. Simply tracking their statements for a short time will reveal their duplicity. Their blind followers are not keeping track, because in their leader they see their hope for humanity.

Communism is the domination of business by government, fascism is the domination of government by business. This era is clearly as fascist as it gets, and technology is turning out to be fascism’s greatest friend. Prison Planet, here we come.
TimTuolomne replies on May 14, 2020:
Your definitions, but completely incorrect. Fascism 1."Everything in the state". The Government is supreme and the country is all-encompasing, and all within it must conform to the ruling body, often a dictator. 2."Nothing outside the state". The country must grow and the implied goal of any fascist nation is to rule the world, and have every human submit to the government. 3."Nothing against the state". Any type of questioning the government is not to be tolerated. If you do not see things our way, you are wrong. If you do not agree with the government, you cannot be allowed to live and taint the minds of the rest of the good citizens. The use of militarism was implied only as a means to accomplish one of the three above principles, mainly to keep the people and rest of the world in line. Fascist countries are known for their harmony and lack of internal strife. There are no conflicting parties or elections in fascist countries. - Benito Mussolini. Communism. Socioeconomic structure and political ideology that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society based on common ownership and control of the means of production and property in general. "The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property." - Karl Marx This means your premise that the US is a fascist state is not a fact. We are a socialist state, with capitalistic commerce. Socialist states control everything much like communism, except in our case, property has at least the legal appearance of being private. However our right to control our own property has long ago been lost to the vast, unaccountable Federal bureaucracy, against which there is no recourse. If we were a fascist state, elections would have been abolished, the Federal Bureaucracy could dictate which businesses would stay in business, and what they would produce, and our military would be the dominant industry. It is not.

Italy has the highest rate of smokers and one of the oldest demographics in the World. Sweden among the lowest. Exceptions are South Korea, Japan and Taiwan which all realized the threat at least a month before the West. @jakuboj. I am not an expert in foreign policy, and can't explain away what you are saying about the American military. Sometimes we were defending our allies as required by treaty, like Korea, and some places in Africa. The President had the power to make war until after Vietnam, and Congress made sure the President could not do that alone anymore. And I would not believe what the Communists say about what the US does. They are pure liars. Most leaders who got us into war, got in trouble for it - even when they had no choice. So just expecting that the US is going to go rogue any time it wants is pure bullsh*t. I hope we don't have to defend Canada from Communism. War breaks everything and hurts people. But we are allies, so we would probably have to if Canada demanded it. And if they would take me I would defend my Northern brethren.

I disagree that the Russian was right. At least not about Democracy. But what we have today is socialism, and in socialism, the individual has sacrificed their rights for order, which is to be administered by a benign leader. And that is the problem, isn't it? Eventually every human proves to be fallible. In a Representative Republic, the three branches of government balance each other, so no perfect leader is ever required. But we are no longer a representative republic in the West, because it is now a vast unaccountable, unconstitutional bureaucracy - the hallmark of socialism.

@WilyRickWiles. False. Do we want to destroy our nation waiting to find a vaccine that is effective? ...

@RegnadKcin, @Serg97. The Left has more to lose in a CoS, and that is why almost all of them oppose it. They have made hundreds of tactical gains since 1942, and recognize that some of us are beginning to understand what has happened right under our noses. In a CoS, restoration of the Commerce Clause would invalidate dozens of SCOTUS decisions, including Wickard v. Filburn, Roe v. Wade, Obamacare..., and become a defacto challenge to hundreds of laws like the Bay-Dole Act of 1970, and the LRRA of 1981 which drove 276 insurance companies out of business and quadrupled insurance rates. All of those will hit the news, even if mostly the underground news. So the chance that decreased Constitutional protection would occur is almost zero, because that would bring their intentions out into the open, and the Left knows that the majority will never accept movement still further Left when more of them learn of these things.

Yeah, who would vote for the "Un-American" Party, The "Anti-Constitutional" Party, or the "Control Freak" party.
Were the Covid-19 lockdowns a mistake?

They "flattened the curve" eh? No. With an R-nought of 5.7 in 2.5 days, the whole World was exposed in 5 weeks - about a month before China admitted it existed. The latency is much longer than most viruses, so we still have cases. And if you look at the data of deaths, they are steady and ...

@SpikeTalon. Sorry. His model doesn't take into account R-nought, without which no reasonable prediction could have been made. Forget models. All DATA shows about a tenth of predicted deaths across the board, and a flat line, not a peaked curve. Stop letting them play politics with this. When a really dangerous virus finally hits us, there will be absolutely no question about it, and no one will be able to lie about it and get away with it.

Hadith 9-5, among many others, calls for the displacement or death of infidels. A bit like the Christian "Old Testament," that was tells us who WE are. The New Testament tells us who God is, and ONLY calls for us to love ALL humans. Hadith 9-5 is among Mohammed's last words, and is the CURRENT ...

@Junkersju52, True. If they need to hide what they are doing, you know they are being intentionally deceptive for some nefarious purpose.

Heboils it down to 3 replacements including Clinton. But why would a Bernie supporter go along with that?
TimTuolomne replies on May 7, 2020:
I agree that Berniefans are one of their problem factions. They are going to need to steal and buy a lot more votes to make up for them. And the media is doing a very good job of herding their sheep using the "Orange Man Bad" narrative.
What do you fear more.

*its effect on our pyschological, social, political and economic health* The one thing that we must invoke and defend, no matter what is coming, the one thing that no other nation has, the thing that is more than just words, The Constitution of the United States of America.
TimTuolomne replies on May 7, 2020:
Amen! Convention of States can restore the Constitution to pre-1942 status, which would cause SCOTUS review of precedent, and probable vacation of Wickard v Filburn, which would result in a whole cascade of overturned law, including Obamacare and Roe v Wade. The unaccountable Federal Bureaucracy would dissolve overnight, and their powers would correctly revert to the States.

This free world is no longer free. The Left and it's temporary Muslim allies are creating a caste system that mimics what is found in all Muslim and Communist countries. If someone doesn't want you to speak freely it isn't because they care about you or justice. It is only because they want power ...

One source said that there is already a mutation of the virus, which means the vaccine would not work unless they abandon all the work done so far and begin new work on the mutation. How long and expensive will that be? With how many mutations will we have to catch up? Will it ever happen before...
TimTuolomne replies on May 7, 2020:
@BikerPetehall70. I still believe that it won't be very long before we all know that COVID-19 was no more dangerous than the flu, it just spreads faster and we stay infected longer, and most of us are asymptomatic. Control freaks want everyone to behave, do what they say, and will try to control the narrative, including that testing proves whatever they hope it proves. And I'm convinced vaccines are part of that narrative, and probably not justified.
No, Thank You!

@BikerPetehall70, I don't think it can mutate that fast, but I'm not an expert. One article I read said it should mutate half as fast as the normal flu. But this article says it has already mutated at least once (which would be actually at least as fast as the flu): https://www.theblaze.com/news/scientists-say-theyve-identified-mutated-covid-19-strain-and-issue-a-dire-warning-about-new-contagion

@Tati, I believe every Muslim deeply anchored in the Koran must leave. I accept that it is probably true that there are people who claim to be Christians who are no different than some who claim to be Muslims, including those who justify violence. The difference is that in many places in the Koran the faithful are CALLED to displace or kill infidels, and it is the CURRENT CALL. I am told that "Muslims" who feel that is not an actual call to action are actually infidels, it also says so in the Koran, and in some places in the World, they are killed by Muslims. The NEW Testament is the CURRENT CALL to Christians, not the Old Testament, and it ONLY calls for Christians to love ALL humans. So by what you say, you are a good Christian. So am I, which is why I pray for the eternal souls of all Muslims. I know in my heart that faithful Muslims have been led astray by the Anti-Christ, and I hope for their sake that they choose differently.
