@toronto_Georgia. At one point we had 41 States, but before the Convention could be called, the resolutions of some States expired. The Constitution calls for 34 States to call the convention, and 38 to pass an Amendment, just like Congress. We are right at the tipping point of calling a Convention of States. The Convention can not act beyond these three areas: 1) limit the size, scope, and jurisdiction of the federal government, 2) impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, and 3) create term limits for government officials, so those who fear the Convention of States are Leftists who know that their mischief can be undone.

If enough Americans demand a Convention of States, the "reset" would be back to the original Constitution - pre 1942, when there was zero Federal bureaucracy, and no one looked to the Federal Government to figure out what to do about anything. We looked to our local, accountable communities. We knew who they were. We knew who were the alcoholics, the pedophiles, and the corrupt, and we kept them at arms length. We let those we knew were reasonable people, serve in public office.

@Jurecki, We have always been under that threat from hundreds, maybe thousands of kinds of microbes, radiation, household accidents...it is far more dangerous to drive your car than your risk from COVID-19. This has been intentionally drummed up as something unusual. It isn't. When the bubonic plague struck, half of everyone's family, friends and colleagues died in the street. That would have been a cause for a lockdown. We have had some type of flu vaccine for decades and still lose between 20,000 and 120,000 people EVERY YEAR due to the complication of the flu. We didn't panic before. And we didn't believe someone who claimed we would control the flu viruses. We all understood. We don't now. That's what is different.

The problem with China for the World, is that if the Communist Party (CCP) says to genetic engineer humans, or develop AI, it is law in China and it is done - whether or not it is a threat to humankind, as both examples surely are. @1patriot, Then you know there are many people who think they can know what you know without bothering to put in the years you have to study what you have, and still somehow feel it is reasonable to discount your opinion; and that their "common sense" is sufficient without any study at all. If they don't know what you are doing, you haven't done it well enough, you don't know your audience, or you don't understand sarcasm. I am interested first in communicating, not showing how clever I am, so when it seems that when I am reduced to sarcasm as my only best option (otherwise I would choose being direct), I assume that my tone will not be clear in writing (because it isn't there, is it?), so I often add "(not)" to my statement, so that those who can't hear my unheard tone can get what I am saying.

The resistance to admitting they may have missed something will be a tremendous inertial power against half the country accepting that their own side may have been the bad guys. But depending on how successful the judicial part of the Deep State is at subverting the evidence, eventually the judiciary will find that massive fraud affected the election, and intensive investigation will be ordered to determine the true outcome of the election. The more we can beat the drum that Democrats are turning this nation into a banana republic, including elections that drag on, because of their agendae, the more likely we can walk back from the nightmare they are creating for us - including the COVID "scare them into compliance" b*llsh*t.

@eschatologyguy, Take a look at solar cycles. They tend to heat up the outer atmosphere when solar heat transfer to the Earth increases. The decrease in angular momentum acts as a brake on the surface of the Earth and shears develop with the mantle, so Earthquakes increase. The data has been tracking for a long time. Every 11 years there is an increase in Earthquakes and atmospheric heat that matches the 11 year solar cycles. Something believers in "global warming" don't want you to know. In addition to the solar flare cycles, are the slower brightening and dimming cycles of the sun, like the Maunder and Dayton minimums that may have driven ice ages and recoveries. Some on this site see proof in your data plot that we are already entering a new Ice Age. The most powerful force in our neighborhood affects the Earth. Go figure.

@eschatologyguy. They were not known as proven 6s in 1935. As a boy in the 50s, I remember earthquakes that were "estimated" within several magnitudes, frequently different depending on where the reporting stations were, and revised many times until the media lost interest. So no, you did not just know it was a 6. And the record tended to average those differences within the accuracy available - effectively reducing the average. Today the math is sophisticated enough and computers fast enough for different stations to come up within a tenth or two of a Richter magnitude from another station. That capability has only existed for the last decade or so. Same problem with COVID. As our knowledge increases, so does the appearance of the problem. Some think the problem is changing, when its actually our accuracy of defining it that is changing. Tim Tuolomne, BSME

@Serg97. Yup. More testing reveals the extent of the infection, not an increase, and definitely not how dangerous it could be. DEATHS) in the US at a time when the population of the US was around 10 million. that would be the equivalent of TEN MILLION DEAD TODAY. Everyone lost family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. See any of that today? There was no systemic lockdown, and it was over faster than the current lockdown.
