A market "vulnerable" to upstart competition has to stay on its toes to survive. Look at what Uber did to taxi companies, or just mass transit in general. Sweden was, I thought, one of the few EU countries that did not lockdown or impose any stupid mask nonsense. Now, Israel is having issues with ~70% of their vaccinated getting re-infected. But, remember, the vax is fake. It protects the individual but is bloody worthless in preventing infection and transmission.
