So far as I know as of today, deal is on hold. EMusk has put burden of proof back on Twitter to prove the 5% number they claimed in report to SEC. Lying on that, repeatedly, is jail time. And, if EMusk can show they lied they will be a a really hard place. If he shows this openly, the SEC will move in. OTOHand, if he can use to re-negotiate a lower price, OK. As I understand, there is a $1B penalty on the one that kills the deal without good reason. If Twitter is caught in a lie, the SEc will pursue and EMusk walks off with $1B prize.

As I understand it, Intl law says that if you are to claim to be a refugee and you flee your country, you must immediately stop at the first country entered and file as a refugee IN THAT Country. If, instead, you pass thru the first and onto another you lose refugee status in ANY subsequent country. Refugee status does not give you the right to skip from one country after another until you get to one you like. That is immigration, and is regulated by every country on earth.
