BTW the news states that Zeus was banned due to imagery... not words.

@TheMiddleWay also... "President Trump claimed in 2019 that he had delivered "the largest poverty reduction under any president in history"." Well we all know Trump always exaggerates... "In 2019, around 4.2 million fewer people were living in poverty in the US compared with the previous year, according to official data." "The US Census Bureau has published this poverty data since the end of the 1950s. The largest fall in a single year was in 1966 during the administration of President Lyndon B Johnson, when almost 4.7 million people were lifted out of poverty." "The continued strength of the economy under President Trump (at least until the pandemic hit) has been matched by a continuing fall in the poverty rate. This overall national figure masks wide variations across regions and ethnic groups in America. " You have to admit that the POVERTY RATE in the Trump term did continually fall. Also the Unemployment rate under trump after Obama also continued to fall.

@TheMiddleWay Oh for God's sake Trumpaphobia... He was President and he did it.... what did he do in the tax cuts? I know very well that earlier on the wealthy (Trump included) did pretty well and others did just so so. Now concentrate on the positives that came about and don't just be a biased TDS sufferer. For couples with an income of $60,000 and two young children, the Trump tax cut resulted in a complete elimination of federal income tax. It doesn’t matter what state they’re in. At $120,000 of income (and the same two kids), Trump is cutting taxes by amounts ranging from 22% in New York to 30% in Texas. At $600,000, you see reductions ranging from 7% to 9%, even in high-tax locales like California. How can this be, given the cutback on the deduction for state and local taxes? The answer relates to the alternative minimum tax that was a prominent feature of the old law. The AMT had the effect of making that deduction largely unusable. It has been widely claimed that the "black" and "latino" poorer demographics, did well from the economic changes and the only downturn occured due to the corona virus.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_supremacy Black supremacy or black supremacism is a racial supremacist belief which maintains that black people are superior to people of other races. The term has been used by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an American civil rights advocacy group, to describe several fringe religious groups in the United States. Black supremacy was advocated by Jamaican preacher Leonard Howell in the 1935 Rastafari movement tract The Promised Key. Howell's use of "Black Supremacy" had both religious and political implications. Politically, as a direct counterpoint to white supremacy, and the failure of white governments to protect black people, he advocated the destruction of white governments. The Associated Press described the teachings of the Nation of Islam (NOI) as having been black supremacist until 1975, when W. Deen Mohammed succeeded Elijah Muhammad (his father) as its leader. Elijah Muhammad's black-supremacist doctrine acted as a counter to the supremacist paradigm established and controlled by white supremacy. The SPLC still describes the group as having a "theology of innate black superiority over whites – a belief system vehemently and consistently rejected by mainstream Muslims"

He may simply end up with PHON in the NSW Senate. Heaven knows they could do with the help. But I think the COvid stance he took has been damaging, not that I disagree with him and the experts he quotes etc, but surely there must have been a better way to go. Personally I'd have sent the PM the facts then tell him he would release it via the msm... in a way that would unfortunately tarnish Scomo and his experts claim. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent.” The article states that it is the agenda of Bill Gates and the United Nations to depopulate the world through vaccines. In a TED talk in 2010 titled “Innovating to Zero”, Gates can be heard saying this sentence at 4 minutes and 21 seconds into the video. Gates was discussing ways the world could reduce carbon emissions and suggested that one way was by reducing population growth through improving healthcare.

Lightman replies on Feb 23, 2021:
The computer magnate believes that vaccines can be used to reduce childhood mortality and ultimately reduce population growth through associated social changes, not as an agent of death. In society after society, he saw, when the mortality rate falls—specifically, below 10 deaths per 1,000 people—the birth rate follows, and population growth stabilizes. “It goes against common sense,” Gates says. Most parents don’t choose to have eight children because they want to have big families, it turns out, but because they know many of their children will die. “If a mother and father know their child is going to live to adulthood, they start to naturally reduce their population size,” says Melinda. In other words, Gates is not interested in using vaccines to reduce the population by using them as an agent of death or a tool to sterilize unsuspecting masses. Rather, Gates is interested in keeping more children alive in order to reduce the need for parents to have more children, thus limiting the overall population growth rate. Melinda: Saving children’s lives is the goal that launched our global work. It’s an end in itself. But then we learned it has all these other benefits as well. If parents believe their children will survive — and if they have the power to time and space their pregnancies — they choose to have fewer children. Bill: When a mother can choose how many children to have, her children are healthier, they’re better nourished, their mental capacities are higher — and parents have more time and money to spend on each child’s health and schooling. That’s how families and countries get out of poverty. This link between saving lives, a lower birthrate, and ending poverty was the most important early lesson Melinda and I learned about global health.

The alleged quote appears to be a misrepresentation of a statement Gates gave at a TED conference in 2010 ( here ), which has been repeatedly taken out of context (see for example here , here ). As part of a talk on reducing CO2 emissions to zero, he said: “First, we've got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That's headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent. But there, we see an increase of about 1.3.” As previously explained by Reuters here , in his speech he was not suggesting the global population should be killed by use of vaccines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gates has been a constant target of disinformation ( here , here ). In an interview with Reuters this month here , he said he was taken aback by the volume of “crazy” and “evil” conspiracy theories about him spreading on social media during the pandemic and would like to explore what is behind them. VERDICT False. There is no evidence Bill Gates said “at least 3 billion people need to die”. The statement appears to be a misrepresentation of his view on slowing population growth through improving access to healthcare, including vaccination and contraception.

@WorldSigh I hardly think the site you cite is unbiased or even accurate. re what Hanno was saying... Gates has long been a proponent of population control to target the roots of poverty and unrest, and told Forbes magazine in 2011 that when he first entered public health, it was to focus on contraception (here) . When he later saw data suggesting that when mortality rates fall, so, too, do birth rates, Gates shifted his focus from preventing births to saving people already alive. He told Forbes: “We moved pretty heavily into vaccines once we understood that.”

Abortion is murder at anytime
Lightman comments on Feb 20, 2021:
2 cells do not a human make, nor 4 nor 8 nor is... so apart from the fact that scientists say life begins at conception... human life per se doesn't. You need to understand their concept or definition of life and human .

@Hanno Ok one more time for those who cannot see the obvious... "Miscarriage had nothing to do with murder, per your definition above." That is the point... do you get it yet? That a miscarriage is not murder... and so neither is abortion. Do you get it yet? A miscarriage or an aborted pregnancy, it is in fact an abortion, a natural abortion so why would you call a medical abortion murder. Miscarriage or a natural abortion can occur any time after conception and usually results in the abortion of a few cells that are not even a viable human life as yet. SO murder.? Not on your Nelly. Do you get it yet? It is not unlawful most places, and is not usually done late term unless the life of the mother is at risk. Do you get it yet? One last time then... Miscarriage has nothing to do with murder... neither does abortion. Seems to me you simply failed to look at what I said from the right direction... That is hardly my fault... why would anyone expect to have to explain the bleeding obvious.
