Jesse Elder - A Love Letter To Communism I don’t follow politics much. But I have studied history extensively, from the perspective of many winning - and losing sides. A country or society that allows greater individual freedoms, thrives and is healthier. A country or society that limits or restricts individual freedoms suffers, suffocates and withers. Over tens of thousands of years, there have been many forms of governance. Partisan politics, and the entire concept of a nation state, is relatively new. The most dangerous forms of government? Well, based on my study, and long conversations with people who have lived through it...Socialism and Communism are the absolute worst.
The most successful (having lived through it) is democratic capitalism.
I have certain metaphysical beliefs that help me see the beauty and purpose of good and evil, light and dark.
So I appreciate the very human games we get to play.
I believe that Communism is Evil.
For any authority that claims the right over an individual’s production, not to mention their thoughts, words, beliefs and behaviors, is an enemy of the human spirit.
A most worthy one.
I usually fight my enemies by starving them of my attention.
I also fight them by influencing them to a higher energy that creates collaboration and mutual benefit through exchanges of value.
I deeply appreciate any opponent for bringing out the best in me, as I hope I bring out the best in them.
And I appreciate Socialists and Communists for helping me to see so clearly what I despise with every fiber of my being, so that I may focus my attention what I cherish and value so much.
Namely
The ability of every human being to advance their own abilities and position in life, free from interference of others, so that they may live a life of fulfillment and personal meaning.
People who live this way don’t feel the need to harm others, or control them, or steal from them, or coerce them.
They just live their lives and allow others to live theirs.
The job of the victim is to stop being a victim, once they realize it’s not what they want to be.
And the oppressed need MORE role models of healthy, happy, wealthy, successful people.
Best way to help someone in need is to be an EXAMPLE of prosperity.
Then, if you’re so inclined, help them.
NOT by giving them what you’ve got... this creates dependence and makes you as weak as they are.
But by seeing their STRENGTHS, and speaking to that which they are BECOMING, instead of that which they’ve BEEN.
Socialism and Communism disempower everyone.
The oppressed, by enabling their oppression.
The producers, by stealing their production.
I love this worthy enemy for what it motives me to do.
To be the best I can be.
To produce more value.
To make more .
And to serve the people who benefit by my increased productivity, inspired even more by the existence of the evils of Socialism and Communism.
Thank you Communism, you are a worthy foe.
Thank you for bringing out the best in me, and in those who value freedom.
And to the reader, thank you for reading.
Good night.

That has been the secret to success for the past 10 000 years.

Don’t bother with “Self help” books or people telling you the short cuts.

Personal responsibility for you own life... it is as simple as that.

The acceptance that you are better than others, and some others will be better than you. No pride or shame in that.

It starts with you...
