I was just at the store today with my son and he stopped by the magazine section because he wanted to look at the magazines that featured pictures from the upcoming X-Men movie. As I stood there with him I noticed all of the magazines that featured D-Day on their covers and I couldn't help but think that instead of living off of past glories that we needed to realize that we need to conduct a new D-Day in the Western world.
The fight against Fascism isn't over but has begun anew. We now have a Fascism of the Left and of the Democratic Party. We also have the 1400 hundred year old Fascism of Islam which is even more insidious than that of Hitler or Mussolini or Stalin. This new Fascism comes to us in the name of tolerance, diversity, respect, oppression, correcting past wrongs, identity politics, anti-Semitism, medical cruelty through abortion and gender denial etc.
If we refuse to conduct an intellectual D-Day using our words in defense of Western Liberal Democracy then we will be conducting it with guns and blood once again because the Left/Muslim alliance doesn't want a war of words. They prefer violence even now.
My children's generation fought the same kinds of tough battles our parents fought in WWII. They have the same moral resources displayed by soldirs on Omaha Beach. They reached greatness, they just haven't had the same media coverage. I rhink we'll realize it, given time.
What exactly would an intellectual D-day look like?
We don't have to literally have a D-Day. What we need is to have more deep pockets that will support a Conservative anti Leftists/Muslim onslaught. I think that most of our D-Day will be fought in the courts and the Supreme Court in particular. We have to use the courts to fight against the black balling of Conservatives as speakers, customers, politicians. We also need a D-Day to combat the Social Media giants who are throwing conservatives off their platforms and we need to kick Islam out of the school system at all levels from k-Post Secondary.
I agree it will be a long battle of minds but hope something is accomplished before the blood flows to the extreme.
