Regarding "Alerts," I would rather read a couple more words of the post and forego the "Just Posted" preface.

I feel the same way, so if I share an article, I'll usually include a quoted passage and if I I'm sharing a video, I'll often create some insight of what to expect if no topic or description are provided.
Even us semi-retired folks have limited time to waste on Blind Links, and each day re have less time to waste.

I don't agree. I scan my alerts and pay specific attention to Just Posted to see if the description draws my attention. I also check out the "Commented on" alerts. The "Reacted to" are probably the only ones I don't particularly take notice of.

Everything in my feed for the last week begins with "Just Posted."

@DMcCreery1956 Perhaps you have not been as active commenting on active postings. My feeds are a real mix of the three. The "Reacted to" are positive but not particularly interesting to me. I get a lot of commented ons. I do scan the Just Posted in order to see if there is anything I am really interested in.
