You know...for 8 years if I disagreed with the President on anything...I was a "Racist" by any and every meaning of the word. Now that I support the President...I'm still a "Racist" in any and every meaning of the word. If I disagree with anyone on the left I am still a Racist. If I agree with anyone on the right I'm a violent Racist. And even if I do nothing at all...I am still a racist because of the color of my skin. I find it ironic that back when racism was a thing people were screaming "Dont judge me on the color of my skin!" Now theyre screaming "I am allowed to judge you on the color of your skin but you can't judge me for it!"

I remember Vietnam. Soliders coming home be spat on and called "Baby Killers" and now those self-same people who called them these vile things...are advocating for the killing of babies. I think Vietnam Vets are well within their rights to spit on them and call them "Baby Killers!" Turn about is, afterall, fair play!

When at work, I will keep my opinions to myself, most of the time, for the sake of my boss. Luckly, my boss is on our side, so when I step over the line, I am forgiven.
I believe MADcHATTER has it totally correct.

While I certainly understand the sentiment (and have felt it myself) do you not think stooping to their level is beneath us? Do you think getting spit upon will truly convey any message to them -- or just deepen their confirmation bias in their inherent moral virtue?

@MADcHATTER I'm not making anyone's decision, just expressing my opinion on getting my soul dirtied by lowering myself to their level. When my kid was two years old and bit me, I didn't act like a two year old, get down on his level to bite him back. I picked him up, turned him upside-down and warmed his bottom.

I'm all in favor of us standing up for ourselves from a position of strength, but I'm not going to start a riot and burn down half of SanFran to do it as they would. I'm not suggesting we find our own little snowflake safe spaces -- just not act as childish as they do in fighting their nonsense.

@MADcHATTER I've seen people hide behind the moral high ground -- like the last presidential candidates before Trump. It can be a dodgy way of being a coward. I'm not for that either.

Isn't the hypocrisy unnerving? I am so tired of identity politics. I am tired of eggshells. The very people whom I have PERSONALLY heard make disparaging remarks about peoples' race/origin/religion/identity are the ones hanging safety pins on the same chain with their religious medallions. And they wonder why I shake my head in disbelief of their claims of being "safe" for the people they have so often maligned.

@MADcHATTER I started referring to them as SWASPs... Someone Wearing A Safety Pin.
