I teach English in high school. I'm also a moderate /conservative. Being a conservative school teacher of any degree is, how shall I say, lonely. Most of my coworkers are extremely liberal, so I avoid any political discourse with them for the sake of workplace unity. I have belonged to several political forums, but have not found one where these course did not break down into name calling. I'm looking forward to meaningful discourse with people who who may not agree with me but who agree that communication is important if we are to move forward.
