Hear all these New York City college students, looking for separation from those darker than them. I recognize that their thought process is to give blacks whatever they want. But I wonder if just a teeny weeny piece of their logic, is tribal. Oh, I'm sure they would be appalled if they realized that. We are all tribal in our nature. For eons it was essential to survival.

Hi. I totally agree. When I was growing up, labelling people was wrong and was suppressed. Now what are we all doing to ourselves? We keep sleepwalking into the narrative of identity politics and dividing ourselves farther and farther apart. We have to wake up.
