I hate to say it, but in any class you take in the humanities and social sciences, keep your mouth shut. I say that in all seriousness. Do not ask challenging questions of the instructor. Realize that you will become the lightening rod of negative attention and none of the students will come to your rescue. That is the price you will have to pay if you must have that piece of paper that says you went to university.
I had a similar experience back in 1974 when I took a black history class. I was the only white student in the class and already had a fair knowledge of "black" history. The instructor was a black woman working on her masters degree in "Black Studies" in Berkeley at the time. I asked challenging questions and became her lightening rod. I was given a "C" even though I did "A" work. But I did have the gratitude of the "brothers" for making it easier for them to get by, as a few expressed their thanks at the end of the semester.
As for your case, let me say I am glad I am not going through any more courses these days. The amount of crap that is required as required courses for the degree is just too much for my tender sentiments. You have my sympathy.

Their problem is obvious . They can't win on their own merits , so they resort to intimidation and character assassination . They hate resistance , more than they hate men .

I do admire your outspoken courage, but as a recovering Jarhead (smile on when you day that!) I would encourage you to emphasize cover and concealment when you're under fire.
If this is where you need to be to achieve a specific life/career goal, then lower your head and become one with the milling crowd. You'll have less chance to become a target of their ire. Try to find kindred souls to express yourself freely. And then treat the school like Sherman treated like Georgia, take everything of value and move on.

So I'd spent the first few months challenging, in a calm and considered way, occasional myths that she was peddling as science. For example, she claimed there was nothing wrong with single parent families. I questioned this by saying "is it not fair to say that family breakdown is the single biggest contributing factors to most societal issues?" Her response was to suggest that the issue was absent fathers and domestic violence. She then asked the class to hold their hands up if they grew up in a single parent household, then she said "keep them up if you feel you weren't adversely affected by this". Nearly 170 young women dropped their hands leaving only 3 or 4 with their hands up. Her response "well you must not have had as good a childhood as me!!" In quite an angry tone. This type of situation played every now and then for the first semester until I finally got agitated in her lesson and told her that she was teaching young women that they were victims and weak. That prompted the complaint. I got upset after she played the following video
