@DuranDuran Yeah, it was my example of hyperbole. No one thought Mexico would go writing a check. I don't like it but it seems to be a way for Trump to gauge public sentiment on issues. The mode of speech was a part of the reason I didn't vote for him, I just don't like it. I did not believe we needed a wall, normal ICE activities would keep the situation manageable. However, the current group of Democrats crying for the elimination of terrorist ICE, etc all convinced me we needed the wall.

Then go through various news sources and see how they play it. FOX and Al Jazeera (English) called him basically evil terrorist. CNN called him 'controversial.' I thought it was a good tool for media appraisal.

@Old_White_Guy I'm sorry I was rude and quick to judge. Rubin is center left with libertarian leanings recently. Peterson, as far as I can tell, is centrist Canadian. I will make quick judgements of people, guys in Charlotte spouting 'Blood and soil' are Nazis. What I've seen most recently is conflating 'tight' with 'Nazi' so I jump to a stupid conclusion.. I worked a pizza shop to for school. Minimum wage increase hit, no layoffs but most people got zero hours per week. My job SUUUUCKED then, all the 2 or 3 person jobs were now just me and I netted about $3 more a week.
