We started a farm. I grew up on one. We raised bison and cattle and I hated it. I ran away from farms my whole life. I was content to live in town. With a small lot that took 10 minutes to mow. We had kids and wanted them to eat well. Organic is expensive and a scam. We had the opportunity to move onto a five acre farmette. We now raise our own pork and poultry and it is amazing. We started our own business, Prairie Junction Farms, and raise the most amazing pastures raised pork and poultry that you can get. It's not easy and rarely fun but I love it. Also we sell eggs but there's no money in eggs. It's like a business card.

I wish I lived more rural. I miss having chickens, goats, a garden and bees.

I'm working on that wish, to become a reality 🙂
I've seen all I wanted to see in a cities. Now it's time to go back to the roots - nature
