Asking for advice. I have a boss who is inordinately contentious with political opinions different to his own. For example locally our council is 100% Male region councillors for the first time in my living memory, whilst being the most liberal out local society has ever been. This means female citizens elected Male councillors. I was met with utter putrid distain for suggesting I’m fine with all Male local council if women have the right to vote and choose to vote for male citizens. In Scotland we have a huge problem with folks who have not got their way in two referendums and as a result want to give power to the government that they currently like (very progressive socially in Scotland in the insidious sense of the word) I order to get the results the want. To be clear (although it’s ridiculous to have to say it) I would have no problem with an all female council so long as at no point ‘equity’ or quotas were mentioned or involved
