The Seattle Public School District made a grave mistake (aside from filling it's ranks with leftists).

What did they do? Well, they had the audacity to suggest to parents that they should try to make sure their children eat and get plenty of sleep on test days. Unfortunately, some of those big test days fall during Ramadan. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), is demanding an apology from the school district over this grievous sin. Apparently CAIR is more concerned with educators making logical suggestions than their own organization's ties to terrorist groups. Blowing up children is child's play I guess.

This unfortunately doesn't surprise me. I recently watched a video (from the 90's) of a Muslim woman who was on the Board of education. Her message was all about trying to infiltrate the minds of American children with the teachings of Islam. I realize that what I'm saying here is a little off point from your post but it is certainly related. This can be a hard subject to broach! I am so against any kind of racism or religious persecution but if I'm being honest I have a hard time reconciling the teachings of Islam. Therefore it creates a conundrum for me and my otherwise acceptness of others and their beliefs.

I hear what you're saying. I have nothing against peaceful Muslims at all, however the statistics on a global scale bear an unfortunate truth regarding "peaceful" and "moderate" Islam. A huge percentage of Muslims in other nations simply don't hold the same values and principles that we do in America; or the West for that matter. Also troubling and worth discussing are the deceitful methods taught and encouraged through the Quran.

Islam needs a big reformation, but that can only happen from within Islam.

Islam is not a religion. It's a political insurgency disguised as a religion to gain entry into Western liberal democracies.

@Truth_Casual So true! Glad to hear you got my point. I guess in someway it validates my thoughts. Unfortunately, I'm still left with what can be done on a personal level with my opposing viewpoints. I imagine paying attention at this point is the best one can do, that and speaking up about real concerns in order to have constructive dialogue.

How dare you suggest that a child receive proper nutrition?!? You should be beheaded for going against the Quran!

Many from the terrorist organizations (Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood) with which CAIR associates might agree with that approach.

@Truth_Casual I can't help but think that is true.
