So I started my profile here on February 24th I believe there was roughly a thousand members, y'all going to probably correct me. There were literally times where a dozen of us were online just communicating with a variety of strangers, with honesty, and compassion, many of us (myself included)for the first time. Now there's over 4,000 in the first week of March. And aside from the obvious trolls that we're going to show up it seems as though this community feels empowered to take our society back and that gives me some hope

Glad to be a member, but taking back our society? It will need amazing growth to do that. I post in one internet forum for "conspiracy theorists and lunatic fringe" that usually has a million visits/day and 15,000 new posts per day-- it may primarily be a source for Intelligence Agencies cataloging of potential trouble makers, IDK. But it still has some very similar content to this IDW site--but with lower average intelligence and many, many shills and trolls.

The biggest improvement I can see is if we had a few politicians and lawyers on here. Both for clarification of what exists...and for feedback on how to move forward with the ideas expressed herein. Any of those on here yet?!

I think there are lawyers here already, some time they don't cite degrees in their profile

Keep it for now, but I am sure it will need updates and improvements.

I bet facebook is pushing this platform to get politics off the feed. The Democrats have been getting served lately

I'm thrilled I found this place

The content is amazing. It's great to see so many contributions from like minded individuals, but not so alike that it's an echo chamber. This said, I'm not a fan of the software used. Despite trying the suggested methods from a help thread I started, I still hate the sorting method. I used to administer a phpBB site years ago, during the pre-expansion times of World of Warcraft, and it was much different.

So far, so good. Of course, I'm an old schooler from the pre-internet BBS days (even ran my own on a single phone line) , so I really dig this kind of format.

I do dig the discussions on here. Thanks for doing this!

I used to be fairly active in the metro-Detroit BBS scene myself. Granted, it was as a user and not an admin, and I was like 10 or so when I started messing with them.

Sometimes, I actually miss those days. I've often been tempted to try setting up an old C64 system, since they have some interesting "new" tech for them. (Heh, new meaning created in the last 20 years.)

The platform is fine as it is, and I hope you're right and that this site continues to grow and become well known. I was about the 12th or so member to join here, and I too noticed the spike in membership, all good in a relatively small amount of time.

Thanks! Yes, we're registering about 500 people a day and hope to ramp it up 10x!

I recruited 25 so far, minus a few who didn't use my personal link to join.

@SpikeTalon Yeah, your post on Minds.com sucked me right in, Spike!

@Paisley_Pirate That post received quite a bit of feedback... some not so positive from a few disgruntled sjw's. I plan on doing another post soon on there to promote this site, and this time include a banner instead of a generic photo attachment.
