There are two possibilities: those that supported Trump realize the Left is coming for them,, actively, and they are trying to get away. Or. They were part of the Resistance and their job is done so they can leave.

I absolutely knew the fix was in by Sept 1, 2020. I HOPED I was wrong. But I had no confidence in it. By the end of October I believed those that were saying to 'just wait!!!" were working to keep people sitting on their hands. It has continued to be that way since the Election.

I can't imagine anyone that has been in DC for any length of time that isn't compromised at some level. I have no confidence in my government, or in the political parties.

@tracycoyle Which of those possibilities seems more likely in your perspective? I honestly had not considered that they might have been part of the "Resistance." But that's an interesting idea...

Did you ever have confidence in the government? If so, what has changed?

@RavenMStark My confidence was that we elected the politicians, regardless of what side, but all were there because of the 'mostly fair' elections. I have no such confidence of that anymore.

@tracycoyle Sadly, things are working out just as you had predicted, at almost every point, it seems to me. As I recall many of your previous posts, you seem to have hit every nail on the head.
