I love reading, swordfighting, bushwalking, bushcrafting and listening to a wide variety of music.
I never had the opportunity to do university, being a country boy in rural Tasmania, but despite not having a formal education I have always been a big reader and enjoyed big discussions about big questions.
From quite a young age I had a very keen interest particularly in relation to philosophy, psychology, and the wide variety of myths and religions of the world.
I discovered Joseph Campbell through my love of Star Wars, and have read most of his books, i absolutely adored his work on comparative religion and "the heroes journey", but for all the excellent top notch material I just felt that a piece of the puzzle was missing.
Years later I discovered Jordan Peterson, and as I listened to his lecturers on archetypes, myth and the biblical lectures etc it all fit together perfectly with Campbell's work, but Prof. Peterson had provided for me the piece of the puzzle that I felt was missing all that time.
I'm now a bit of JP fan, I travelled to Melbourne recently to see him do a live lecture to 5500+ people, it was an amazing experience.
I generally listen to at least one JP lecture a day, and have been doing so for almost two years now.
