@Naomi You do understand that guns have been part of American society since before the Revolution. It is only in the, what, last 25 years that they have become a major problem. It is not the GUN that is the problem. It is the almost total disregard for human life that is the problem. The guys who fought in three major wars over the last 100 years knew all about killing with firearms, and were good at it. this includes most of the males in my family for several generations. In the case of my family that goes back to the French and Indian war before the Revolution. Note: one of the reasons for the Revolution was to keep our guns! We use to deal with mental illness before it became a problem. Now it is not politically correct to call somebody CRAZY, even when they are. You may have noticed that The Media seldom talks to the people who knew the mass shooters before hand. They leave it to you to find out if there were warning signs. I will bet there is in 95% of the cases.

I wonder why people are demanding a "Living Wage" to be paid to all workers, but never demanding ...
