Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.for sure! i never said there was a LARGE amount of detransitioners, what i did say is that 90-95% are female and lesbians. so clearly to me, it seems like a lesbophobic type or sexist issue.

I think there's a lot of stigma with de-transitioning too, so the numbers may be even larger and we'll just never know. I disagree that with him that it's necessarily mostly the result of a transphobic environment, too.
@Jayyy partially the problem and sadness with this all is the fact we'll never know. like how many of the increased transition rate are because of more acceptance? how many cis (or non-trans if you preffer) people would be trans if there was less stigma? are there other factors which is making exassibating gender dysphoria at this time?
maybe in another 50 years the data will come back and we'll have an answer but until then its frustrating cause there seems no way of conclusively answering beyond opinions
