If it’s legal to force people to wear a face mask for “public safety “ will it also be legal to force people to implant a microchip devise to monitor “health”?
Is it really that far of a stretch?

not a stretch at all - hand "health care" over to gov't that's precisely what we'll get. Gov't will devise ways to monitor and control your behaviors related to diet, exercise, recreational activity etc.

To answer your question. Yes, that is a huge stretch.

Is it that much of a burden snowflake?

John McCain spent seven years being tortured and starved for his country. He came back and served his country again. So man the fck up and serve your country by wearing a fcking mask.

  1. I'm no snow flake. 2) It was a question. 3) Go fuck yourself, I'll do as i damn well please.

@FOTD13, Sorry to butt in, but McCain was responsible for sailors dying on the Forrestal because of a prank that destroyed a bunch of aircraft and put the Forrestal out of commission for months. His Admiral father hushed it up. In captivity, McCain was trusted by fellow American soldier prisoners to get their messages out, and he turned those messages over to the Viet Cong for privileges. Most of them did not survive the retribution for trying to get messages out. He was a cowardly, despicable traitor. Ask those who knew him in the service. Look it up. Its easy to verify.

And McCain repeatedly set up Republicans in the Senate by agreeing to support bills, then broke his promises, eventually proving that he was a two-faced Democrat posing as a Republican, and probably paid off for it. Nice hero.

Next, there is no viral threat. Only a terrified little girl would believe there is. You've already proved in other exchanges that you need someone to tell you what to think, like you can't trust conservatives, so you believe a bunch of other unproven nonsense as well. So man up, do the research, and if I were you, I would do my best to stop embarrassing myself.

Really?
Wow ... I’m surprised a Stupid Moron of your caliber is able to figure out how to type ...

Why would you use the metaphor of John McCain to “justify” your moronic response?
Seriously, McCain deserves to be honored for his military service and what he went through. (There’s a lot that doesn’t speak well even for that) His “service” as a politician? Ummm ... you’re kidding ... right?

Let’s see ... McCain (We) were fighting in Vietnam iin order to prevent the spread of the TOTALITARIAN Government called Communism ...
WE are discussing ... What the above post is about ... is the Concern that Our Own Government seems to have “suddenly” begun a Leftward Lurch towards ... TOTALITARIANISM ... (YOU Know ... what McCain was Fighting AGAINST)

Strange ... how is it that people like you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ... and Totally Fxck Up the Little Bit you THINK You Know ... and STILL Think You have an “opinion” worth uttering?

@Boardwine So arrogant.
' I will do as I damn well please."' Who raised you? Your arrogance could endanger others. But Fake News, conspiracy, Bill Gates, OWG, blah blah blah. Its' One Nation under god, not do what I damn well please. As a judeo-christian nation we do unto others. not whatever we damn well please. If I get Covid can I cough in your face? I should be able to do whatever I damn well please.

@TimTuolomne Commander Hank Stewart, USN (Ret.), a naval engineer, the fire was actually caused by the accidental firing of an Mk-32 “Zuni” rocket as a result of an electrical power surge during preparations for a strike against a target in North Vietnam:

Here is the JAG report: [jag.navy.mil]

and...“I was his cellmate for a number of years,” says ex-aviator Bob Shumaker. “He’s just as honest as the day is long, and courageous to the extent of always doing the right thing, no matter what.”

McCain signed a confession after being tortured. I think we can forgive him for breaking after five and half years of torture.

Sexism the last stand of a male snowflake. I know a few ladies who could kick your ass into next week. "Scared little girl" Jesus dude welcome to 2020.

@FOTD13, Nice coverup by Admiral McCain. LOOK IT UP. McCain dumped fuel into the afterburner while on the deck to "flash" the plane behind him, which triggered the rocket. The rocket destroyed McCain's plane and McCain ejected safely , while the crew attended to the dead and injured and spent hours putting out the fires. The stuff you say betrays your willingness to stack the truth with something else. Oh yeah, we call that a lie.

@Bay0Wulf Totalitarianism is a political system or a form of government that prohibits opposition parties, restricts individual opposition to the state and its claims, and exercises an extremely high degree of control over public and private life.

So, this is the direction that Democrats/leftists are moving? Can you please be specific and site sources so that I can be vigilant as we move closer to a Totalitarian government?

@TImTuolomne So you read the JAG report and figure that the Admiral just covered it up? I have much more respect for are brave men and women in the military to believe this type of nepotism, especially when there are official reports on the incident. But, choose the information that fits your narative. The information you are quoting has basis in a blog post from 2008. I gave you a military record and you choose the blogpost.

Here is more information:

The Forrestal Disaster, July 29, 1967

At the time of this incident Lt. Cdr. McCain already had flown several bombing missions over North Vietnam from the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. As he was in his A-4 Skyhawk, loaded with thousand-pound bombs and waiting on the carrier deck for his turn to launch, a Zuni missile accidentally fired from another aircraft, swooshed across the carrier deck and struck McCain's plane.

Author Gregory A. Freeman, in his 2002 book about the disaster, "Sailors to the End," describes what happened:
Freeman (pp 104-105): McCain felt a huge impact as the Zuni rocket tore through his plane on the right side and exited on the left side, ripping open his fuel tank with four hundred gallons of JP5 jet fuel. ... The jet fuel was ignited soon by fragments of burning rocket propellant, but there was a delay of a second or so.
McCain picks up the story firsthand:
McCain (p. 178): At impact, my plane felt like it had exploded. I looked out at the rolling fireball as the burning fuel spread across the deck. I opened my canopy, raced out onto the nose, crawled out onto the refueling probe, and jumped ten feet into the fire.
Soon the fire began to ignite bombs and other missiles, and McCain was hit by shrapnel. The Forrestal was badly damaged and put out of action for two years. A little more than a month after the disaster, McCain was flying missions from another carrier, the USS Oriskany.

No "Wet Start"

A special note is in order here. We have seen some baseless claims that McCain was somehow responsible for the Forrestal disaster. One incorrect but widely quoted theory has him triggering the Zuni missile with the exhaust of his own plane by "wet-starting" – deliberately dumping fuel into the afterburner before starting in order to shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. This is a preposterous notion. For one thing, the tail of McCain's plane was pointed over the side of the carrier and away from other planes at the time, and the F4 Phantom fighter that fired the missile was facing McCain's plane from the opposite side of the deck, as shown in a diagram in Freeman's book (p. 281)

From "Sailors to the End," p. 281 Copyright 2002 by Gregory A. Freeman, used with permission.

Furthermore, a painstaking Navy investigation into the disaster concluded that the Zuni had been touched off by a stray electrical charge, not by a jet exhaust.
Freeman (p. 250): The investigation revealed that the rocket (fired) because a freak surge of electricity jumped through the plane's system at the moment the pilot switched from the outside electrical generator to the plane's internal power system. The voltage surged through five sequential safety devices designed to prevent just such a stray charge from reaching the rockets.
Unfortunately for McCain and the men who died, some safety precautions that could have prevented the electrical surge from igniting the rocket had been ignored or suspended in the wartime pressure to get planes launched quickly.

Freeman also has posted an item on his own Web site flatly stating that McCain was in no way responsible for the accident. "McCain was never suspected of causing the fire because investigators determined immediately that the rocket misfired from the other side of the flight deck," writes Freeman.

Update, Feb. 8: A former military pilot messaged us to point out an even more convincing reason why the "wet start" story must be false. The A-4 Skyhawk did not come equipped with an afterburner in the first place. We've confirmed that elsewhere. According to the Military Analysis Network site maintained by the Federation of American Scientists, the A-4 was powered by a "Single, Pratt & Whitney, J-52-P-408A non-afterburning, turbojet engine." The manufacturer's description of the aircraft also describes the powerplant as "One 11,187-pound-thrust P&W J52-P408 engine," with no mention of an afterburner.

@FOTD13 You can do as you please. But there are repercussions for actions. For example, you could cough in my face if you so choose, as I could knock your teeth out if I was so inclined.

Practically everything that has happened since the first of March has been unconstitutional without sufficient demonstrated cause to justify any exception. Our leadership has responded only to our panic. Now that the virus is known as no true threat, leaders like Trump are willing to restore the status quo. But other leaders are not. They are happy to violate your rights under the Constitution, such as it remains. If you don't show some backbone, they will continue.

“They are happy to violate your rights...”?
I think maybe the proper word is “prefer” ...

@Bay0Wulf, I applaud that you are not motivated by power. Those who are, know that controlling others is the exercise of power. (I also know it, even though I am motivated by justice.)

That means psychologically speaking, they actually ARE happy to violate our rights.

I hope you never have the misfortune of looking someone in the eye who is exercising that power over you, and you both know its wrong, and you understand that the person is deeply satisfied and delighted to see you feeling powerless.

@TimTuolomne
That has been tried ... often ... in life ... in business ... in the military ...
I allow them to believe that they “have power” at the moment if I have no choice or option. I am the rock that allows their bullshit to flow around and over me ...
Usually they find themselves frustrated when they find that I simply paid No Attention to their crap ...
I am Brer Rabbit thrown into the briar patch ... Smiling back at those who threw me there.
Or ...
I am the slamming jaws of a muskrat trap on the fingers of the unwary extracting a price for their exercise of “power” ...
(That’s a bit more rare as I don’t tend to be vindictive but I WILL go quite a ways out of my way to extract my “Pound of Flesh” if the situation warrants it.)

@Bay0Wulf, That's backbone, and often the best we can do. Thanks for your service to keep us all free. In politics, we can often be a bit more direct.

Legal? Doubtful ... in fact there are several actual laws and circumstances where they CAN’T insist on face masks (for instance, asthma)
As to Microchipping ... Legal? Doubtful
BUT ...
You CAN Expect that Major Corporations (probably pushed by their “Insurance Companies” ) WILL Require such a device in order to gain entry to their premises ...

Which will create a conundrum about any Government Run Agency ... such as, can they REQUIRE you to be “Chipped” to enter Government Buildings? What about if you’re being arrested and have no “Chip”? How can they “Book” you? Arraign you? Bring you into Court?

So ... Legal is doubtful but ... IF They decide to enact such a policy ... Expect Coercion to be applied.

Don't think that's legal, but I'm sure the elites will find a workaround though...
