Some of that data comes from:

[worldometers.info]

This data agrees with most. You can see that COVID-19 is somewhere between the flu and the measles in fatality. We didn't shut down the country for those. So let your representatives know that we've had enough.

If this virus mainly targeted young people would the old farts running this country even be worried about it?

It's possible. We saw similar occurrences happen 102 years ago with the "Spanish Flu" of 1918 where many of our men in uniform were being affected both on the battlefields as well as cities and military bases at home.

@ThomasSheedy Its weird...I mostly read that they didnt understand viruses back then and that the plague doctors believed that the sickness was in the cold night air. But then when I look deeper it seems as though that couldnt be true being that Einstein was already figuring out laser technology in 1917

@ThomasSheedy most influenza outbreaks kill infants and elderly. A graph of the deaths by age would be shaped like a U. With the Great Influenza the graph was a W. 25 to 30 year olds were hit the hardest. Those in their physical prime had such a strong reaction to the virus that their own immune system killed them. Could the Chinese Communist Party virus get like that? I don't know.

and they said there would have been what, 2,000,000 deaths if we wouldve continued on life normally..?

Are we talking the "Spanish Flu" or COVID??
