Life is ’s Fragile and Fleeting
2 Days ago I was hit with the death of a close friend in a motorcycle accident, even though everyone knows that I am a staunch Atheist, I still hear the usual words, he’s in a better place,he’s watching over us and you’re gonna see him again soon etc etc,
He’s gone, his wife is alone, our circle is broke, when you’re done you’re done, but just because I don’t believe in anything after, doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings and need to grieve for my friend, so think if you find yourself having to console an atheist who is grieving, think before opening your mouth
