This article is interesting. A female program manager is frustrated with a diversity policy that discriminates against Asian and white males. These issues are often framed in overly simplistic terms. I would like to see a thoughtful discussion of the topic. One where the history and logic behind affirmative action is explained and analyzed in terms of effectiveness, ethics, legality, social and psychological implications. One area of interest for me is how it affects individual white/Asian males. Few consider how they are to contend with this, given various scenarios.
