I keep hearing commentators ask why the decision by Mueller doesn’t put an end to the constant drumbeat on collusion and obstruction.
Be sure of this- ALL of what’s going on -
Collusion, obstruction, tax returns, immigration, etc, etc.....are all for one purpose only- to see what will gain traction to remove Trump and return the reigns to “the swamp”.
The unholy trinity of swampers (Dem. and Rep.), the MSM and liberal educators are all aligned against Trump.
Fortunately, the eyes of the people have been opened! Soldier on Donaldus Trumpus!

We could also have a wag the dog moment where they are distracting us from what is really going on behind the scenes. That being said, I think the old guard is butt-hurt because an adult finally showed up and is enforcing the rules!

Well said. The Democrats and the Muslims and MSM have been trying to undo the election results from day 1. This only goes to prove that the Mueller investigation was a witch hunt from the start.

I think that people tend to overcomplicate this question. My view on this is that it comes down to the simple fact that they hate Trump. He was an amusement at first, and no one considered him to be a serious contender on either side of the aisle. But, now he's president, and he is a complete outsider. The idea that the American people had this specific pool of people - all of whom are life-long politicians with their typically political sense of self-preservation - to choose from was kind of blown out of the water. And now he's charging around like a bull in a china shop, smashing against all of the viciously proper norms of politics as usual in the United States. He says the things that people wish politicians would say; he says what he's actually thinking, be it good or bad or incredibly stupid.

I think they tipped their hand a little bit, though, in that all of this shows their utter disdain for at least 50% of the population. The implication of all of this is that Americans are too stupid to know who they voted for, therefore, Russia. It must have been Russia convincing these simple rubes to vote for the Donald. They can't seem to accept that, by and large, people are sick of the toxicity of politics as usual in Washington DC. I am fairly agnostic when it comes to Donald Trump. I didn't vote for him, and I didn't vote for Hillary. I thought they were both bad choices. I've liked some of the things he's done in office, and I've hated some of it That being said, I feel that Donald Trump more closely resembles an actual average citizen (which is to say, he's more relatable) than practically anyone else in politics. He's crass and unscripted and unpolished; not every move is made with an eye toward political expediency. Whether you like him or you hate him, if you're honest with yourself, you know exactly what you're getting.

Well said. You touched on exactly the reason he was elected, that he represents a lot of people in America who have not been represented in the past, or for a long time, at least. Though I am a conservative, I too did not vote for Trump (I of course did not vote for Hillary). But I can recognize the many good things that he has accomplished, and will likely vote for him in the next election. Do I wish he was less reactionary to every little thing someone says about him? You bet. He needs to have a little thicker skin sometimes. Do I wish he would limit his use of twitter and sound more presidential when he does use it? Absolutely. But that's not who he is and part of the reason people feel like he represents them is precisely because he doesn't follow the norms. The fact that every liberal in America is so vehemently apposed to everything he says or does is a back-handed endorsement for keeping him there and trying to get the Republicans in congress to more fully support his agenda.

When the pussy grabbing comment failed this was the next best thing. Fortunately, it seems like the more the news scream collusion after the fact the more people aware that the msm isn’t exactly trust worthy.

I think Trump Derangement Syndrome is the petulant swan song of the Baby boom generation. They spent a large amount of time telling us GenX'ers that we would amount to nothing and have no chance of creating anything of lasting value. Now that we are challenging the Monument to Middle Management that they created that does nothing but regulate other managers, their only option is to claim any innovation is racist, et. al., and work to return to the do-nothing stutus quo of the last 20 years...

@WilliamLWeaver, can you explain the 'challenge to middle management that they created that does nothing but regulate other managers' comment? I'm not in that kind of a business, but I'm interested in the systems in business and the complex hierarchical structures within business, as well as the impact they have on company-wide production.

@chuckpo Certainly. My experiences are limited to NASA and Higher Education. I'm not the only observer to mention this, but since the mid 1980s until 2016, there has not been much innovation outside of computing. During that time there was a glut of college-educated Boomers who demanded upper-middle class salaries. They found them in the Regulation and Compliance industry. Diversity officers, Regulation Compliance Liaisons, Environmental Impact officers, and the like, created ever-larger management teams with the goals of improving safety for humans and the environment. Whenever there were accidents, it meant that these managers needed more power and resources to keep everyone 100% risk free. At NASA, this risk aversion led to the shutdown of the Manned Space Program and its mission change to the study of CO2. In Higher Education, the Government FASFA program removed personal risk from education loans and Universities raised their costs (400% above inflation) to create layers of Administration and Management to keep students safe from physical harm, and later social harm, and triggering mental harm.

President Trump slashed regulations and allowed private industry to risk capital and reap the monetary rewards from risk. The current "Swamp" of Regulation Compliance Officers cannot afford for the public to learn that Risk/Reward results in better overall quality of life improvement over Risk Adverse Fail-Safe environments. President Trump must be removed at all cost, all while ridiculing his heretical ideas as being a fanciful magic wand.

In two years, while under investigation for mythical treason, NASA is headed back to the Moon in 5 years the economy is enjoying 3+% GDP growth, and unemployment is the lowest in history. All because of the reduction in Rules and Regulations on Risk-taking Entrepreneurs and not because of the For-Your-Own-Good Regulators.

@WilliamLWeaver

My experiences are limited to NASA and Higher Education.

Ah, only that, hahaha! Impressive. But, it may not be the same in corporate America, which is what you're implying. Makes sense. I just thought your intro was funny.

Okay back to reading the rest...

@WilliamLWeaver, wow, that's REALLY interesting. Thanks for taking the time. I'd buy you a beer or 3 to hear your stories...Good stuff!

 Fact;
 Trump derangement syndrome has no cure.

Democrats still trying to push this crusade to discredit the 2016 election and that this President is not deserving of this office. They will never care that the Obama's justice department was spying on a Republican Presidential campaign.
Now its an interpretation battle

The only cure is sever personal tragedy on a level that shakes a person's faith and understanding to it's foundations. Most people are blind to the glasses they wear, I was the same until I was forced past my ignorance. I can only hope that people will learn life lessons without suffering; but if we must suffer that we suffer well.

@DaddyBob, that's quotable. Nice.

Let's hope the eyes of the people stay open. Some comments/statements I have heard remind me of times Congress passed Bill's for Slander, Assault and Conspiracy, so I do wonder how long it will be allowed. Or is it just to add more laws for more control?
