I don’t know if it will be that bad. My experience here is limited, but everyone seems to have a fairly calm attitude and accepts the fact that people will disagree. That being there will be some trolls and I think things will get to be a bit more interesting and entertaining.

And whats wrong with ideological puritans? I think the formulation of a belief system that you can defend is the whole point?

I just watched two "intellectuals" debate an issue by spending 15 mins yelling over each other. and that the real issue: We've lost the ability to debate. Because you don't agree with me you don't get to talk? Maybe a little more puritan behaviour is what we need.

Some will. The consistent behavior of ideologs is to suppress all non-conforming ideas (tyranny). Eventually they'll show up here. We'll see what kind of community and leadership we have when that happens. My view - unless they genuinely seek debate - is to meet nonsense with silence. Why waste time?
