I don't think Russia plans their military strategy around biblical verses. Another thing to consider is that Christians are now the chosen people according to scripture. Christ said that no man entereth the Kingdom of God EXCEPT through him.

Israel would be easy to take out militarily. They don't have the satellite systems of Russia and China to guide munitions and anti-missiles. They have 3 subs that can be located and extinguished very quickly. Israel is such a small land mass relative to other battle zones. It can be covered easily with multiple weapons packages. Israel has an-checked nuclear arsenal they claim to unleash on the world if they are attacked, known as the Samson Option. If Israel tried this, mankind would OUTLAW Judaism and wipe the planet of all Jews so that this type of supremacism is never seen again

@Sensrhim4hizvewz The prophecy is not that Russia will follow the writings of the prophet, but that circumstances of their own foreign policy will pull Russia into direct invasion of Israel and that God, not the Israeli Army will destroy the invading horde. You have the interpretation backward. Putin is well aware of the prophecy, and has resisted direct confrontation with Israel. Yet the rhetoric of the Russian Foreign Minister lately will pull them in or make them look like Buy-den is running Russia too.

I honestly don't think Russia or China is concerned with biblical threats. The Soviet Union tried to invade Israel by proxy in 1973.

If Israel endangers Russian interests or their economy, Russia will use whatever means they have to stop Israel. Let me tell you why Israel is attacking Syria (Assad specifically).

Over a decade ago, Israel laid claim to a number of gas field discoveries in the Mediterranean. This is the recent economic partnership accord signed by Saudi Arabia, UAE and Israel. UAE has an LNG facility that can liquify the gas and send it on to Europe. Assad has refused to allow the pipeline to cross Syrian lands because he knows this pipeline will usurp Russia's European gas market. Syria and Russia have been allies for many decades.
