WHAT'S WITH THE SQUID, MAN?

The Abyss-opelagic Zone
"Abyss" derives from the Greek word for 'bottomless'
It is the largest living environment on Earth
This zone remains in perpetual darkness (area of the ocean:83% ... Earth's surface: 60%)
It has uniform environmental conditions
This is the area where the water hits 4 degrees Celsius.
There is no oxygen in this zone
There is high concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and silica
The water pressure gets up to 11,000 pounds per square inch
The water is very still (Psalm 23:2 "He leads me beside the still waters" )

A giant squid would be about 3 square meters or 4500 square inches.
Imagine pulling a giant squid on to land and placing a 24,750 ton weight on it.
