It’s ok, I think it’s a bit overkill and would prefer faculty and staff who already concealed carry in their regular lives to have the option to do so on campus. I wouldn’t be opposed to them also having some training available specific to these types of situations. The pattern I find in these cases, where a coward comes to inflict mass damage on soft targets, is that as soon as they encounter ANY type of armed resistance they usually surrender or kill themselves. I feel making that encounter come as soon as possible (plus not promissing soft targets in the first place) would do wonders to end this aweful trend.. or at least mitigate the damage.
