Bill Clinton initiated police action in Somalia (Black Hawk Down), ignored the massacres in Rwanda, attacked Iraq three times-- including airstrikes during impeachment proceedings--and sent troops into Yugoslavia with NATO. He was immensely popular with the public when he left-- and still is to this day.
Everyone said that George W. Bush was a warmonger because he sent troops into both Afghanistan and Iraq in his alleged response to the attack on the World Trade Center. On his watch, Saddam Hussain was removed from power, captured, and executed. He is received more positively today than when he left, and the Muslim world still hasn't universally declared war on the US.
Barack Obama escalated the forces in Afghanistan, sent airstrikes to Libya, authorized airstrikes in Syria, gave assent to the assassination of Muammar Qaddafi and gave the order to take out Osama Bin Laden, and sent drones into Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia-- in fact, drones under Obama killed more citizens than any president before him. His high popularity is unmatched--especially in the Black community.
I said all that to say, Trump isn't the bloodiest president. He's the exact same guy as the last few guys. You just like him less. The guy before him just sold it better, and he just sells it worse--but it's the same sell. This is not going to ignite the Muslim world any more than the last ones did. This isn't World War III. This isn't even different. It's merely presidential politics as usual.
To MY folks: do not get caught up in what happens in DC. Stay focused on where you are; on building generational wealth; on controlling community resources; and on attaining true political power--not on presidents doing the same thing that other presidents do; the things that will still leave them popular long after they're gone.
