I was wondering why Wall st. and all the corporations seemed to be elbowing their way to be first to be "woke".
They all want a high ESG rating. This is an astounding article. Collectivism/Globalism has taken over the corporate world. No longer is a corporation's growth dependent upon demand for a product and the providing of its supply. It's rated by its Environmental, Social and Government index as determined by international rating companies.

The big capital companies are starting to drive this as well. Ie. The largest investors are pushing very hard for social stances by those comoanies in which they invest. So if Companies won't do it voluntarily, the big investors are trying to mandate it. It's hard core tops down tyranny. The only thing we can say for certain. It's not in any way connected to their conscience or a drive for a better world. They are pirates looking for gold and this Marxist world view somehow adds to their power.

Coleman Hughes discussed this on a recent podcast with Sam Harris. The big corporations want to avoid bad press and possible boycotts, and like so many others in this Puritanical woke era, they just go along. There’s a low risk for them in parroting woke-speak. Remember that since the press is decidedly leftist, there’s a major risk in a company staying silent or adopting a pro-right position.

These big companies with massive profits and offshore tax havens don’t give a crap about social issues. They just want to keep moving product.

Companies outside the west - especially in China and Asia - aren’t hobbled by the Woke Doctrine. It’s interesting that in the recent ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline, woke leftists were concerned with getting fuel in the tank, not about climate change, gender or core benefits. Of course, I wouldn’t expect them to learn anything from that.
