Perhaps not with regards to a recent re-circulation. But I do seem to recollect a hanful of terrorist outbursts, which killed innocent people, being committed in answer to the original cartoon knee-jerk reaction.
The difference between Allah and God The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit is that God so loved mankind, He endowed him with free choice to choose how to revere Him, or not. It is every person's choice to either accept or reject Jesus Christ, with no one but Jesus himself returning to cast final judgement on all of mankind for their freely chosen decisions.
But Islam decrees Muslims to be the ones to cast and even hand down judgement on perceived infidels for failing to revere Allah because theirs is fuelled by hatred for mankind.
