IT DOES NOT GET ANY CLEARER THAN THIS
"When you see all these things..." and "all these things" start at the "budding of the fig tree", which is symbolic for the re-establishment of the state of Israel. "This generation" that witnessed the budding of the fig tree shall not pass "until ALL these things take place". That would include the Rapture, Jacob's Trouble or the Great Tribulation, the Magogian invasion of Israel, the return of the Messiah, the Great Reconciliation between the Messiah and prodigal Israel, and the start of the Lord's Millennial Reign. But when preachers are asked the "this generation shall not pass" question, they always seem to find a way from answering the question directly. And what is the answer? It's in Hosea 6:1-2, where it tells the reader "2 days" will pass from the smiting (that would be Sept. 6, 70AD, the day the 2nd temple was destroyed - "your house - no longer My Father's house - is left to you desolate" ) to the Great Reconciliation and the start of the Lord's Millennial Reign. Those who were 7 year olds who witnessed the re-establishment of the state of Israel will be centenarians when the Lord's Millennial Reign commences. "ALL these things" in one generation, just as the Lord said.
Anybody with a better interpretation of Matt 24:32-34 as it relates to Hosea 6:1-2 is welcome to comment.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy "The Copper Scroll" and such other works of fiction, but let's not follow in the footsteps of "The Late Great Planet Earth" failed predictions.

That's an opinion borne out of failing to make distinctions, and that's fine. And I'm not predicting anything. Mine is an interpretation of a prediction the Lord Himself already gave in Matt 24:32-34. He also did say nobody knows the day and the hour in v36, and I do not pretend to know the day and the hour when He comes for His church. But this is not about His coming for His church. That can happen anytime, even tonight should the Lord wish to.
