Well, it would seems that the real chosen one was Rey Palpatine, not Anakin Skywalker. She turned out to be the "bestest Jedi ever." And only that, as Palpatine's offspring, she took over the Skywalker name, giving the final victory to the Palpatine family. So, the evil Emperor finally won. Luke and Anakin might just as well not have played a role in the story. They turned out to be bit players. Under Kennedy's incompetent leadership, during which she betrayed the vision of George Lucas, a hopeful, modern myth that inspired a generation has been turned to excrement. It is for that she will be remembered. Going forward, those who love the original trilogy will view her and the damage that she did with disgust. By selfishly destroying heroic characters without reason, Kennedy has cemented her place in film history as the Destroyer of good story writing and the Nemesis of profitable film making. After spending two billion dollars to procure the rights from George Lucas, Disney entrusted its investment to an incompetent ideologue.
