French President Emmanuel Macron is projected to win a second term, easily defeating right-wing challenger Marine Le Pen after polls closed.

Maybe continually referring to Le Pen as "far Right" made voters shy away from voting for her.

Howdy @SpikeTalon,

The Establishment always seems to win in France. I haven't read enough to know about the mechanics of French elections. But even before the Fifth Republic, the French establishment seemed to formulate and follow its own policies. The Le Pens have been challenging the status quo for a generation now, and the establishment has vociferously opposed them for the whole time.
