This is just for fun for the gear heads.
This popped up on my feed: [bit.ly]
The SVO was only 1.88% of total product for the years 1984, 1985 and 1986.
The front sheetmetal, the rear spoiler, the tail lights, even the headlights were that model specific(and pricey). This car even came with an intercooler.
There was a set of rims specific to the SVO as well but they were a weird metric size that came out to 16.5 inches and Goodyear was the only manufacturer of the tires, they cost about $200/pc in the late 80s and early 90s, they were expensive and never caught on and Goodyear decided to discontinue production, many tire shops refused to sell just one or two, owners had to buy a complete set.
The owners only used them at shows and drove on interceptor rims because they were cheaper to get.
This car started to change the performance scene in the US, after this car more and more super chargers and turbos were being sold after the 5.0 HO EFI came out.
This is not my car. it was just for fun.
