Everyone in Canada should watch this

Hoping to learn and share ideas a bit.

At present I am Education Assistant in a catholic school board in southern ontario in Canada. Though at present there does not seem to be a great push for Equity at the school I work at. But with the current state of public education I am concerned for seperate school boards and private schools buckling under the heel of politically correct authortarians.
I hope to establish a convesation with many people here to refine my positions, gain knowledge and find encouragement if things go badly.

How is it possible to show what post is from what country? This is especially important when discussions about politics come come up.

I have put two names in, in various ways and they have all been taken, amazing. Didn't know there were so many out there with my full name and or initials.

Why does Google have ANY presence here.. It's a spy org.

As bad as you might think things are currently for conservatives, keep your head on a swivel. Prepare,prepare,prepare. No matter the outcome of 2020, things can (and maybe will) turn ugly fast.
Keep yourself informed. Keep a feel for the political climate and repercussions from that climate. Have a plan. Better to have it and not have to use it, than scramble if things go bad in a hurry. Just sayin....

Thank you for welcoming me into the group. I am a physician. In the past, I was a member of the Canadian armed forces, Park Ranger, and mountaineering instructor, and I spent five and a half years in law enforcement. I've travelled widely and do overseas humanitarian work. I speak several languages. So I'd like to think I bring a wide range of experience. I view myself as a libertarian and value the improtance of economic freedom, religious freedom and freedom of speech, especially for those ideas we may find distasteful. These are the cornerstones of human progress. Their suppression brings only misery and suffering. I believe freedom in all its forms must be vigorously defended.

A friend and editor, upon reading my latest manuscript/book for assessment - realizing it was very politically incorrect and full of cultural appropriation and might cause me significant backlash - asked if I was really willing to 'die on that hill.' And FTR: he thought my book was excellent.
I responded "hell yeah".
I will fight and die for free speech.
Besides, there's nothing inappropriate, offensive or inflammatory in my books that would offend a normal, reasonable, moderate liberal or conservative.

How will the site attract opposing views? I'm hoping that there will be debates and discussions. Are there any icons for links to opposing views?

Since YouTube is trying to get rid of any anti-Left ideology, I think it would be good to come together and really support other non-discriminating video content providers. Just like IDW is forming, join up with and support an alternative to YouTube. The only others I know of are Vimeo or Brighteon.

In the near future, will there be a IDW link to Youtube (or any other site eg. Facebook)? As to link posts from other sites avaliabe here? I would like to share more examples and facts on my page and having an icon directly to this site would be immensly helpful in my endeavours! Thank you. -Truth seeker.- No-one.

The idw harkens me back to a time when the left and the right would debate ideas not trade insults over trivial things those were the days when consenses could met and things actually done

I must admit, i cam accross this site on my Facebook feed. And WOW I am so happy I did, this feels like a brand new concept that needs to spread like a California wild fire! I truly hope I can assit this site's appeal throug word of mouth.

Stop supporting sexual deviants. There are only two sexes in your Profile section. Take out the so-called other choices. They are bullshit!

My top concern is freedom. I call myself a libertarian (small L) but not a Libertarian (capital L) because I hate being put in a box and being expected to defend everything that someone else with the same label might do.
My second concern is civility. I'm sick of the name-calling, the "clever" put-downs, and the insults. I'm hoping to find that in IDW.

I am an American - old fashioned patriot with Founding Fathers values. I am deeply concerned how current movements are undermining our basic foundation. I am concerned for my grandkids’ futures. My granddaughters are too pretty to be wearing burkas and my grandson too handsome to have a Taliban-like beard. Seriously, I am genuinely concerned about the Liberal Left, and the freedoms it’s trying to obliterate.
