We learn about them in the context of WWII, and how we threw a bunch of innocent people into internment camps. We have Chinese-American studies. We learn about how a bunch of enslaved Chinese men were forced to build our railroads. And we have African-American studies because it is a fundamental part of the history of the country, and the atrocities it has committed in the past. Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

I’m thinking it was Joseph Goebbels that said (‘actually pointed out’ would be better phraseology) that every great nation needs great propaganda ~ here paraphrased.
The unfortunate connotations that envelope the word ‘propaganda’ should not dissuade from objectively understanding what the word actually means.
The information and/or purpose of ‘propaganda’ may, or may not, have honorable motives – it in reality is a perfectly neutral word in that respect. Why it’s even the name of a committee of Catholic Cardinals responsible for missionary work.
No, no, I’m not saying that ‘propaganda’ can’t be used nefariously. This United States represents possibly the greatest ‘propaganda’ machine of all time. Why else would your tax dollars have financed Radio Free Europe etc. for so many years if not to counter the evil ‘propaganda’ of socialism?
Then there’s the ‘propaganda’ meant for domestic consumption. The very subtle campaigns our government (shall we say) influences to combat hate between different identity groups. No, I’m not criticizing propaganda with good intentions.
What I am trying to say is that this isn’t the same ‘land of the free home of the brave” it was less than a century ago. Now we have ‘elitists’ in charge of this massive ‘propaganda’ machine with evil intent.
In conclusion, my point is that now we’re being flooded with decisive Marxist propaganda instead of the old American propaganda of UNITY. So I wish to iterate that you should SERIOUSLY question what you’re being told everywhere in life today. Step back and ask yourself if this information (propaganda) serves to divide people(s) and/or groups or does it unite them – for that is the distinguishing factor that separates propaganda with evil intent from propaganda with good intent? All Marxist and Feminist propaganda is done with divisive malevolent evil intent – TO BIND YOUR MIND(S). {Mark 3: 23-27}

Actually, the AP is simply a college accredited course that allows the high school student to get college credit for a course they are taking in high school. The idea behind it is that it might allow advanced students to take more advanced courses while still in high school so that they can finish college in less time and waste less money taking more basic college courses they could have taken before entering college. My daughters were in IB (international Baccalaureate) a similar program offered for the same purpose that allows high school students to go through a rigorous dual-credit (high school and college) course program and finish high school with a diploma and an associates degree or many of the courses needed for an associate degree. It can save the cost and time of 2 years of college while getting the high school student accustomed to a higher educational standards.

Of course Meritocracy is the answer. It always has been. It's the only true avenue towards fairness. Obviously there is a large portion of today's society that feels like Meritocracy is too much work. There is also too much gray area in the world today. It lends itself toward confusion when you mix in all the feelings that are flying around. Boil everything back down to black and white, no pun intended.
